The car starts right up and runs smooth. Ford L-Head 4 Cylinder engine, cast iron block. Three main bearings, 1 Barrel carburetor, planetary transmission, 2 Forward and 1 reverse gear, 3 pedal controls & floor lever. The tires hold air with 2 new tires. Good condition except right headlight needs to be re-assembled. The top stretches nicely and is tight in place. The body has a few dings and scratches but minor, as this car is not show quality. Full payment is due at completion of auction, either cash in person or wired to my bank directly. No Checks or Cashier checks. The arrangement of shipping and transport is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I cannot assist with this. I am selling all my Antique cars due to ailing health. Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.

Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
