This vehicle has had new fenders, splash aprons,running boards all steel-no fiberglass as part of its restoration.The engine was rebuilt by Lilleker Antique Autos of Texas.Cartouche furnished all interior seat and panel material. New floor mats have been installed. The coach body has been sandblasted, the entire vehicle primed and then sprayed with two coats of black urthane. It's really quite beautiful. The rubber is excellent and finally a new top and side curtains has been fitted. The car starts effortlessly and runs smoothly. To say children are enthralled by it is an understatement. It has been my experience that it beats a rumble seat hands down. Forgot to mention there is a new boot that goes with the sale that has never been used.

Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."

Sat, 12 Oct 2013Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.
