This coupe is all original henry ford steel and is said to be a California car that was in dry storage for around 40 yrs, its body is in pretty good shape with some bumps and bruses and a few smaller rust places but still a good straight body overall, its the best Ive seen that's not been reworked, the interior is in great shape including seat, door panels, kick panels, headliner etc, and with a little cleaning and tidying up it would work well with either a hotrod build or to build back original, all glass is good except pass side door glass that's cracked, doors open and shut good, windows roll up and down, and front winshield pushes in and out good, has a newer spare tire with a neat cover, and comes with some other parts also including fender braces, bumper brackets, carb, new tire tube, new belt, new gaskets, jack etc,etc, theres no motor or trans or radiator but most all other parts are there with probably just a few that's not, car rolls and steers good, its a real good one to work with and these kind are hard to find !, no title, BILL OF SALE ONLY, please ask any and all questions before bidding or buying, I reserve the right to end auction early, this is a NO RESERVE auction and car will sale to the lucky highest bidder ! contact thru email or call 918-868-7394

Fewest vehicles ever found eligible for Most American survey
Mon, 30 Jun 2014Once again, the most American car on the market is from an American brand. The Ford F-150 retained its number one spot in Cars.com's annual survey of the most American vehicles, trumping the Toyota Camry, which remains at number two.
Ford taking the top spot is small consolation, though, as the Detroit Three aren't too well represented here. General Motors scored a win at number seven, with the Chevrolet Corvette, while Chrysler squeaked in at number ten, with the Dodge Viper. Outside of those three vehicles, Toyota and Honda dominate the top ten.
What's most remarkable, though, is that there were so few cars available for this year's list.
2015 Ford Mustang dealer order guide surfaces
Tue, 13 May 2014Details about the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang continue to leak out. In fact, at this point, it's more of a stream than a drip. Its option prices are already available, and now the full ordering guide is on the web for all of the trims thanks to the Mustang 6G forum. Ford is rapidly running out of secrets to keep about its new sports coupe.
The 21-page guide can be perused in the gallery below and contains all of the standard features, colors, options codes, descriptions. Generally everything you might want to know about the 'Stang is there, other than its price or power. It even shows off the available wheel designs.
The guide finally gives away the contents of the Performance Package for the EcoBoost and GT trims. The EcoBoost's package includes: A larger rear sway bar, new chassis tuning, larger brake rotors, 19-inch black wheels, retuned driver assistance systems, an aluminum dash panel, added gauge pack, 3.55 limited slip rear differential, larger radiator, heavy-duty front springs and spoiler delete. When the options pricing leaked, it indicated the package would cost $1,995. If that is the case, it seems like quite a deal.
NHTSA and Ford investigating steering issues in Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauder
Fri, 11 Jul 2014There may be more steering woes for the Ford Crown Victoria. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary evaluation into the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis from the 2004 to 2007 model years and the Mercury Marauder for the 2004 and 2005 model years because the steering shaft can jam. The issue could potentially affect an estimated 500,000 vehicles.
According to the regulator, there is a possibility that the driver's side heat shield for the exhaust manifold can rust, dislodge, and then wedge into the steering shaft. If this occurs, it leads to a situation where the driver can no longer control the car.
NHTSA has received five complaints of this happening, including one alleged case with an injury. In that situation, the car was driving onto the highway, lost control and rolled over. One occupant was hurt in the accident.
