After enjoying driving for a number of years, I have decided that I will sell my 1929 Model A Town Sedan. This is a Briggs Body 4-door that was restored some years ago.The engine was removed and overhauled, but the transmission and rear end remain original and have no noises. It has all the standard Model A stuff plus a manifold heater that warms your toes in the winter.I have added a new trunk rack, trunk and trunk cover recently. It runs very well, starts every time and is a good dependable driver. The burgundy lacquer paint is checking due to age, but that is the only item that I can fault it. All the lights work as they should including the interior light over the rear window. The glass is all good, interior is very nice, speedometer shows 43,569. I am advertising this car locally so if you are interested, please contact me at 573-248-6155,if you would like to drive it before purchase or have questions. I am a motivated seller, but do have a reasonable reserve on this car. Bid early and often if you want a good Model A. It is a lot of fun to drive. I would like $500.00 down payment within 48 hours of end of auction and the balance at time of delivery. I am about 100 miles north of St Louis, MO. on the river.

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn
Sun, 30 Mar 2014Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.
Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy
Sun, 31 Aug 2014Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).
Ford EcoSport Storm concept swallows a Raptor in Sao Paulo
Sun, 02 Nov 2014Ford rolled into the Sao Paulo Motor Show with some pretty cool crossovers in tow, the awesomest of all being the EcoSport Storm concept shown above, which draws its inspiration directly from the F-150 SVT Raptor. It packs a lower grille clearly derived from the now-famous muscle truck, as well as a Blue Storm paint job, black and silver trim, special graphics, lower body cladding and 215/75 R15 off-road tires. Don't go holding your breath for a supercharged V8, though; made locally in Brazil, India and Thailand, the tiny EcoSport is typically powered by a three- or four-cylinder engine.
The Storm isn't the only specially prepared Ecosport on show, however, joined as it is by another pair called Beauty and the Beast. Beauty is decked out in matte copper with a black roof, LED fog lamps, 18-inch wheels with low-profile tires and an interior complete with four individual bucket seats, leather upholstery and a full multimedia suite. The Beast, meanwhile, takes a sportier approach with a white pearl finish, blue and orange trim and three-bar grille. It also wears 18-inch wheels and LED fog lamps, but its interior swaps out its rear seats for a bike rack.
Joining the EcoSport show cars was an Edge crossover equipped with all the latest technologies and done up in bright red with three-bar grille, bulging hood, and an interior featuring 10-inch touchscreens and leather upholstery. Feel free to read more in the press release below.
