Very nice convertible street rod. Disk brakes on front, drums on rear. 350 V-8 chevy engine, 2-speed GM power glide transmission. Hot rod black exterior, tan leatherette interior. Car runs and drives great...very dependable cruiser. This car does not have a top...fair weather cruising only. No air nor power steering. Car was built approximately 1 year ago.. I have enjoyed it this summer and attended several local cruise ins. Have my eye on another project and do not have room for both in my garage. This car is not a trailer queen by a long shot, but it is a nice dependable cruiser ready to go. Please do not bid if you are not serious...my reserve is much lower than the cost of the parts to build it. The car is available for inspection and test drive. I will be happy to assist with loading if transporting is necessary, however transportation of this car is the responsibility of the buyer. This car will be sold with a clear registration and bill of sale. It has been inspected, licensed, and insured in the state of Alabama. There is no title for cars of this age in the state of Alabama. Please make sure you can title in your state with these documents BEFORE YOU BID. Ford could post best-ever profits in Q1 2013
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Analysts are saying that Ford Motor Company may have earned a record $2.7 billion pretax profit in North America during the first quarter of 2013, a number that represents its highest first quarter profit ever. The impressive earnings are further proof that the American automaker is making a solid comeback as the economy begins to recover.
Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Chase are estimating that Ford's first quarter North American profit may have topped 12 percent. The firm cited the automaker's fresh lineup, but noted that CEO Alan Mulally needs to uphold the pace as the company works to gain ground in the car and utility segments.
Ford's success has been led by increased demand for its F-Series pickup, the best-selling vehicle in the US for 31 years, and by the Fusion sedan that recently recorded its best-ever quarterly sales in the domestic market. Ford is expected to release its first-quarter revenue on Wednesday, of this week.

It's even better, of course, when cars are involved, which is why we can't stop watching this car chase between a pair of radio controlled Ford Mustangs.
Racing through a detailed set built in the middle of a public street using just "cardboard, hot glue and spray paint," this video is possibly even greater than The Greatest R/C Car Chase Ever that we saw last year. With the exception of a fruit stand and/or a plate-glass window being carried across the street, this has all the makings of a classic cliché chase scene.

Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years?
