I have recently taken in my Grandmother to care for her and just do not have the time needed to finish the work. Has Brand new fuel tank, fuel lines, all 4 drum brakes are 100% replaced new lines and all, starter, fuel pump, headliner, black interior carpet. Has great tires and nice wheels and caps. Lots of body work has been done (sanding, priming, ect). All glass is good, windows roll, wipers good. Engine Size 4.7 L, 289 Engine Type V8Fuel Type GasolineAutomatic Cruise-O-Matic I have done the body and mechanical work that I could do. The car now needs to be taken to someone who has the tools to adjust the carb. and distributor and get the timing correct. Car starting up but do to the timing and carb/distributor needing adjusted I can only keep it in park to run it and rev it up. I have put lots of hours and $$$ into it but I just can't continue to spend the time on it."

2015 Ford Mustang production to begin on July 14? Not quite, says Ford

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

Mustang6g.com believes that it has unlocked start date for 2015 Ford Mustang production citing a Ford dealer communiqué. According to the report, job one on the 2015 hardtop will allegedly start in just a few days, on July 14, although units that are known as "OK to Buy" won't enter production until September 9. The cars built between those dates are most likely final pre-production cars for the executive test fleet, and will likely include the cars we'll be driving at the media launch.
Sun worshippers, meanwhile, would seem to have a longer wait. Job one on the droptop supposedly isn't slated to start until September 14, with production models starting on October 27. As is the case with the hardtop, these final pre-pros are for the execs and media to test, while actual dealer orders will come from vehicles made after the October date.
After speaking to Ford, though, we wouldn't put a great deal of stock in those dates as reported. We reached out to Said Deep, Ford's North American Product Communications Manager.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.

Americans will get a four-cylinder Ford Mustang after all? [w/poll]

Sat, 09 Mar 2013

Ask and you shall receive. Remember that previous report suggesting that the 2015 Ford Mustang getting a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and that it would be sold in Europe only and not the United States? Well, according to Road & Track, the rumor is only partially true - The Mustang will get the engine, but it is indeed coming to America.
Additionally, according to RT, the 3.7-liter V6 will continue to serve as the base engine, and since it offers up a stout 305 horsepower in its current form, it's likely that the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost will produce a bit more than that. At the top of the range, the Mustang GT will continue to soldier on with a V8 engine, which should continue to send over 400 horsepower to the rear wheels.
Finally, while we agree 100 percent with RT's heartfelt request for a paddle-shift automatic, we certainly expect that the EcoBoost 'Stang will be offered with a manual transmission as standard equipment. This is a Mustang, after all...
