1960 Ford Country Sedan Station wagon. All original car for restoration. Has the 352ci Police Inteceptor motor and it's all there, totally original down to the linkage and carb tag. Does not run but I'd rebuild it anyway. 6 passenger wagon. Car is now sold with Georgia Bill of Sale, which is state legal for cars older than 1985, they don't require titles. I am working on getting the title but don't have it yet. Engine- 352ci 4bbl. Totally stock, unmolested down to the air cleaner. Linkages are all still connected, even has the heat riser tube coming up to the carb. No rust underhood what so ever, just some surface. Power steering and power brakes along with auto transmission. No a/c. Body- Overal solid straight Arizona car. Has some rust. Needs front drivers floor pan. Others appear good. Right rocker, some in doors. Hood, fenders, tailgate, roof solid. Front grill, bumpers, back end all decent to good. Needs couple pieces of side flat glass, cracked windshield. Rear wagon window excellent. Interior. It's all there. It all needs redone. Seat frames good, dash all there and good, including clock and AM radio. Headliner bows are there. Car is for sale locally, call for info Seven 06-974-2197
On Nov-06-13 at 12:21:52 PST, seller added the following information: Car has clear title. Only thing missing is the generator underhood. No keys. Great resto or rat rod project for the money. Reserve is low. I cannot store the car any longer so when it's sold it will need to be moved fairly quickly. It rolls but it is stiff from sitting, will need a winch to load it. The 60 Fords are hard to find, especially the wagons.

Daimler consulting with Ford about 3-cylinder engines
Mon, 27 May 2013Soon enough, Ford will offer its 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine under the hood of the Fiesta here in the United States, building on the success of the small powerplant overseas. In fact, this success has caused other automakers to take notice, and according to Automotive News Europe, Daimler is now talking to Ford about this engine for use in its own products.
In other markets, Ford offers the 1.0-liter mill under the hood of the Focus (we had the chance to sample this package on our home turf), as well as the B-Max MPV. For this new collaboration, Daimler would use the turbo-three in the next-generation Smart ForTwo, as well as the Renault Twingo, which the German automaker will be collaborating on as part of its alliance with Renault-Nissan. Speaking to AN, a Mercedes-Benz engineer called the 1.0-liter mill an "interesting and impressive engine."
In exchange for details about the EcoBoost inline-three, Daimler will supply Ford with information regarding its Euro6 stratified lean-burn gasoline engine, which is found in the new E-Class sedan.
Ford Mustang GT500 successor spied near SVT
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Details about the next-gen Ford Mustang are scarce, and there's even less information out there about the upcoming replacement for the Shelby GT500. Previously rumored to drop the Shelby name and wear the GT350 moniker, the highest-performance Mustang has just been spotted testing near Ford's SVT operations.
Despite being cloaked in heavy camouflage, we can instantly tell this prototype is different from other Mustang spy shots we've seen in the past. Aside from the Shelby-spec wheels, quad exhaust outlets (previous spy shots show only two) and beefier brakes, this car also has air intakes on the hood and front fenders. These elements help to neither prove nor dismiss rumors that the next SVT Mustang will be naturally aspirated. It also looks like Ford is may be planning some changes to this car's rear suspension, as there is some extra camouflage added beneath the rear end of this prototype.
As a bonus, these spy shots also give us our first look inside the new Mustang, revealing a new steering wheel (with more buttons) and a glimpse of the dual-pod instrument gauges. Check out past spy shots of the 2015 Mustang showing off its new face and driving around town.
White House clears way for NHTSA to mandate vehicle black boxes
Fri, 07 Dec 2012At present, over 90 percent of all new vehicles sold in the United States today are equipped with event data recorders, more commonly known as black boxes. If the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gets its way, that already high figure will swell to a full 100 percent in short order.
Such automotive black boxes have been in existence since the 1990s, and all current Ford, General Motors, Mazda and Toyota vehicles are so equipped. NHTSA has been attempting to make these data recorders mandatory for automakers, and according to The Detroit News, the White House Office of Management Budget has just finished reviewing the proposal, clearing the way. Now NHTSA is expected to draft new legislation to make the boxes a requirement.
One problem with current black boxes is that there's no set of standards for automakers to follow when creating what bits of data are recorded, and for how long or in what format it is stored. In other words, one automaker's box is probably not compatible with its competitors.
