2010 Ford Fusion Sport Sedan 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Junction City, Kansas, United States
am the second owner of this car. This is a
very rare car in this combination finding a sport with the navigation package
and All wheel drive is not easy I had to look to Ohio to find this one.
- 2010 sport (270 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine with 87octane none premium gas, show me another v6 that can do that) You will surprise a lot of v-8's and turbo 4cyl in this car I know I have. (will come with an SCT tuner that needs to be reset by SCT but once done can have a tune loaded that will give this car another 30 horsepower.) - 62,000 miles (going up slightly until i pick up my Audi next week). - All wheel drive (same haledex system that volvo and audi use, is amazing in the snow and rain) (ford put some custom tweaks on it and having driven the volvo and audi version I think this is better) - Automatic transmission with sport shift lets you shift it like a manual with out a clutch. (will not shift for you like some cars do will let you redline it and shift when you tell it to) - Power transfer unit was replaced under warranty at 45,000 miles. - navigation - blind spot/ cross traffic monitoring system. - Back up camera and sensors. - keypad on doors to unlock/lock doors. - Factory Sony system I have upgraded the subwoofer and speakers. (Bravox speakers , http://www.bravox.com.br/portal/ adire audio subwoofer, custom center channel and sony amp.) Will come with stock sony speakers. - Custom rear section exhaust. (two cherry bomb glass packs painted flat black with 4" round tips) - Warm air intake, what I call it cause filter is still sitting in engine bay but stock plastic squished pipe has been replaced with 3" pipping. - 6000k hids in main as well as fogs. - Custom grill ( have the stock lower which will come with car and I'm going to re-do the top center this week with better mesh) - chrome door trim blacked out (starting to chip slightly two verry small spots) - custom carbon fiber fabric in interior. - brembo brakes (hawk hps pads, and brand new duralast gold pads, will also come with stock brakes/rotors) - team dynamics 18" motorsport version 1 wheels (22LBS) with almost new (less then 10k miles)fuzion uhp tires. I also have an extra set of center caps so two complete sets. - lowered on eBay springs. (sam specs as the megan springs) (Can put stock springs back on if buyer wants) |

Ford gives police chiefs tech to surveil officers in their own cars
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Police officers certainly have a difficult job in keeping the streets safe, but as public employees in positions of authority, there is still a very real need for oversight. To that end, Ford is partnering with a tech company to offer a new system called Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement on its line of Police Interceptor patrol vehicles that could make cops safer, while giving cities a better idea of what its officers are doing.
The system streams live data about cruisers back to the home base to people like the police chief or shift supervisor. That info includes expected things like speed, location and cornering acceleration, but it gets incredibly granular as well, with records of things like if emergency lights are on, or even if an officer is wearing a seatbelt.
Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement "ought to protect officers as much as it protects the public," said Ford spokesperson Chris Terry to Autoblog. Constantly monitoring patrol cars offers cities a lot of advantages, too. First, it reduces potential liability because a department can prove where each vehicle is at all times. Also, officers know they are being watched and may potentially drive more safely.
Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.
Ford finally issues recall for 230K minivans over rust problems
Sun, 10 Mar 2013The rust issue in the rear wheel wells of 2004-2007 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans has finally led to a recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began an investigation into the matter in 2011, said investigation being upgraded to an engineering analysis a year later while NHTSA tried to figure out how many model years should be included in the assessment.
Ford has decided to recall all of the 230,000 minivans potentially affected, namely those sold in salt-belt states and countries like Canada. The excess rust in the rear wheel wells was also able to prevent the third-row seats from locking to the floor of the minivan. To repair the problem, owners can take their minivans to dealers, and the dealers will place new panels in the wheel wells, replace the third-row seat mounting brackets and relocate the latches to an area away from any corrosion.
Ford says it will begin notifying owners during the last week of March.
