THIS AUCTION IF FOR A 2004 WHITE FORD FREESTAR MINIVAN. I LOVE MY VAN BUT MY HUSBAND SAYS I HAVE TO GET RID OF ONE VEHICLE. IT IS IN GREAT USED CONDITION.
SMOKE-FREE AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF. NO RIPS OR TEARS IN THE SEATS OR HEADLINER. GETS GREAT MILLAGE FOR A MINIVAN AROUND 27 MPG. LOTS OF STORAGE (THIS VAN WAS MEANT TO CARRY A TON OF STUFF.) IT COME WITH POWER WINDOWS, SEATS AND DOOR LOCKS, REAR AIR, CRUISE CONTROL. SLIDING SIDE DOORS. THE MIDDLE SEAT IS REMOVABLE AND THE THIRD ROW FOLDS DOWN INTO THE FLOOR FOR EXTRA STORAGE. THE CURRENT MILLAGE IS 177931, BUT WILL CHANGE (I DRIVE IT EVERYWHERE) IT DOES HAVE A FEW MINOR SETBACKS. 1. THE CD PLAYER DOES NOT WORK 2. THE CRUISE ONLY WORKS OCCASIONALLY 3. 2014 Ford Transit unveiled in Chassis Cab and Cutaway versions
Fri, 08 Mar 2013As a leader in commercial vehicles here in the US, we knew Ford wouldn't take too long to show off the chassis cab and cutaway versions of its 2014 Ford Transit van. Set to go on sale this fall, Ford already revealed the full-body version of the Transit, and now it has pulled the cover off exposed-frame models just in time to to compete against the all-new Ram Promaster.
The term "chassis cab" refers to models with a fully enclosed cabin used for box vans or rental trucks, while cutaway models leave the cabin open behind the B-pillars for a pass-through on vehicles such as Class C motorhomes or ambulances. Both will offer three wheelbase options (138, 156 and 178 inches), the choice of single or dually rear axles, and plenty of upfitter-friendly touches including a pre-wired body harness and multiple body mount locations.
The new design will also help make upfitting a little easier since the fuel filler is now built into the cab (just behind the driver's door). Those integrated fuel filler necks will serve to feed either a 3.7-liter V6, a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, or a 3.2-liter Power Stroke diesel. Transit chassis cab and cutaways will wear varying Gross vehicle weight ratings from 9,000 pounds to 10,360 pounds depending on spec.

The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital
Tue, 02 Jul 2013Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.
