All very light. Not deep. All on lower body of car. Passanger view window is broken off. Hit something just yesterday taking it to get cleaned. One wind shield wiper is broken off - a possible buyer broke it when opening the hood. Of course told me it's easy to fix. It is, just not in my skill sets."

It's a smoke free car. Clean. It has scratches on right and left front fenders, not deep.  On back fender the scratches can be buffed out.  Tires are good. Some need a little sanding, and paint. All very light. Not deep. All on lower body of car. Passanger view window is broken off. I was hit by something just yesterday taking it to get cleaned.  One wind shield wiper is broken off - a possible buyer broke it when opening the hood.  Of course told me it's easy to fix.  It is, just not in my skill sets. Car rides smooth and has great gas mileage. When I bought the car 2 years ago, the seller had rebuilt engine.  I had emissions checked and it passes. Good back seat space and good tunk space.  It is not being used for 1 year at this point so this is why I want it sold and really don't want to bother with side view mirror and wiper.  I work full time and I don't want it sitting here not being used.  It is a reliable car.

It's a smoke free car. Clean. Tires are in good condition. When I bought the car 2 years ago, the seller had rebuilt engine.  I had emissions checked and it passes. It has new altenator. Good back seat space and good tunk space.  Has jack, and spare tire.  It has not been used for 1 year at this point so this is why I want it sold and really don't want to bother with broken side view mirror and wind shield wiper.  I work full time and I don't want it sitting here not being used.  It is a reliable car. It has scratches on right and left front fenders, not deep.  On back fender the scratches can be buffed out.  Some need a little sanding, and paint. XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.

Ford wins second consecutive Engine of the Year with 1.0L EcoBoost [UPDATE]

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

For the second year in a row, Ford has taken top honors in International Engine of the Year voting. As was the case last year, it is Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine that earns the automaker the accolade, achieving the highest-ever accumulated score in the 15 years that the award has been handed out.
A panel of 87 automotive journalists from 35 countries are responsible for choosing the world's best engines, and this is only the third time an automaker has managed back-to-back victories. Voters were impressed by the "Baby EcoBoost" engine's power output - 123 horsepower between 1,400 and 4,500 rpm, 148 pound-feet of torque from 1,400 to 4,000 rpm - and its compact size; Ford has demonstrated that the package is small enough to fit in the overhead bin of a passenger airplane.
Currently, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost is offered in the European Fiesta, B-MAX, Focus, C-MAX and Grand C-MAX, and Ford plans to put the engine in the Transit Connect, Transit Courier, Tourneo Connect, Tourneo Courier, Mondeo and EcoSport in short order. In North America, the Fiesta will be the first vehicle to offer the 1.0L EcoBoost later this year.
