2002 Focus SVT. Original adult owner. 4th car in family,garaged, excellent condition, no accidents, low 68k miles. Synthetic oil since new, meticulously maintained,never tracked or abused, regularly hand washed and waxed. Quick, super handling, practical hot hatch that came with all available options including the Shaker sound system with powered sub-woofer. Just passed Massachusetts emissions and safety inspection in January. Body in great shape with only very minor blemishes. Alloys are fine and have no curb rash. Interior tidy with no rips or tears and only minimal wear. Car is a blast to drive and averages 24mpg. On trips it does 26-27mpg. Accommodates five passenger with a decent amount of luggage space.The only two issue with the car that I'm aware of are: The driver side seat warmer is not functioning. The fuse is ok, so I'm guessing it's either the switch or heating element that has failed. The second item is the tires. (Pirelli P6's all around). The fronts are fine. The rears passed inspection, but will need replacement within the next year. Maintenance within the past year includes new belts, 02 sensor, and battery. Currently half way through Mobil 1 extended life oil change. Ready to drive and enjoy. The addition of an Alfa Romeo restoration project has put garage space at a premium so reluctantly the SVT will go to a new owner. Please bear in mind that although in excellent condition this is a used car and is not perfect. That being said, a cleaner,better maintained Focus SVT will be difficult to find. The reserve is reasonable, but reflects condition and mileage. In fairness to the auction process please don't ask to have the reserve revealed. Suffice it to say that you would be hard pressed to find a better performing, cleaner car of any make for the money. 2015 Ford Mustang stars in bizarrely awesome '80s aerobics video
Wed, 30 Apr 2014For reasons we can't comprehend, here's a music video starring the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang and a number of dancers dressed and styled in the most stereotypically 1980s way possible. The dancers then take part in a male-versus-female dance off. Again, we've no idea why it exists.
It's weird, and for the second time in two weeks, we're sat at our computer wondering, "What are we watching?" That said, it does show the new Mustang from a number of angles, and it's one of the first car-related YouTube videos we've seen that's available in a 4K, ultra-high-def stream.

2015 Ford C-Max gets a corporate nose job [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014Ford might not have the splashiest booth here at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the automaker is showing off quite a bit of hardware that will actually end up on roads across Europe. Parisians are no doubt tickled at getting to see the specifications of the Mustang tuned for The Continent (which has a revised suspension for European roads, and a few visual nips and tucks), in addition to the revised face of the family-friendly C-Max.
As you can see, C-Max styling has been revisited with a deft touch, grafting Ford's six-sided corporate grille on the nose, in place of the outgoing car's two-part affair. New headlights can also be found on the car's revised front fascia, though the rear end of the C-Max looks only slightly different than the current version.
Inside the cabin, Ford has consolidated controls and upped the ante in terms of material quality, with "black satin" and chrome details and more storage capacity, overall. Grocery-lugging moms and dads everywhere should appreciate the hands-free liftgate feature, as well.
