Wow Here we have a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint V8, Automatic. This car is described as driver quality with rust free panels, this is not a trailer queen its a great driver. Has decent paint which would benefit from a good buffing and colour sanding, to bring it to the next level.

The best thing about this car is it powertrain, with a 302 stroked to 331 cubes, Wysco pistons at 10.5 to one, cammed with a 536 lift and 280 duration camshaft, elderbrock aluminum intake, 650 Double pumper. Headers with 2.75 Exhaust with 40 series flowmasters with dumps. Makes 420 h.p. which has been mated to a fully built C4 trans with shift kit and 3000 stall TCI torque converter. Putting its power to the ground through a 9" posi with 3.73 Gears. Makes for one stout little street car, 5ltr eater watch those Mustangs fade in you mirrors.

The interior is in great shape showing little signs of wear anywere real decent with a Sony CD Player for when you don't want to listen to the roar of the engine.

Has real nice wheels and tires, the chrome and bright work are in great to outstanding condition. Oh the under carriage is in great rust free condition as shown in photos. Glass is all in great shape with original cresting.

Check the photos out as they speak for themselves.

This car is for sale locally and may be withdrawn at any time.

I encourage you to stop by and inspect this car yourself or your inspector because seeing is believing its true condition as everybody has different expectations.

I will help with shipment over seas, I can take to a seaport for your convenience for a small fee.

I will Ship the car to Buffalo N.Y. or Detroit MI. Area For transport through out the USA. For a small fee.  Theres a small broker fee of $375.00 to have the paperwork done correctly so this car can be registed in any state with ease.

I am easy to work with and I am willing to help any way I can to make this an easy transaction.

If I haven't said this before this car drives just like it would have when it was brand new in 1964 but faster. If you really wish I would drive this car to your front door for the price of fuel, expenses, and plane ticket home for me and my friend. That's how confident I am in this car.

Truly is a decent example.

Want more pictures just ask.

Will consider trades????????

Needs to be sold....

Ford readying 2015 F-150 drift truck for SEMA

Sun, 19 Oct 2014

Between the Mustangs you'd find in Formula D and the Fiestas in the Global and World rallycross championships, there's no shortage of Ford drift cars on the scene. But at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Blue Oval automaker intends to show off a different kind of drift machine.
Created in collaboration with driftmeister Vaughn Gittin, Jr., this custom F-150 has been designed for "on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping." It's got a suspension with components from Kibbetech King and Air Lift Performance to give it 12 inches of travel and comes packed with 5 Recaro seats. Other details remain limited, but if the rendering above is anything to go by, it ought to be pretty awesome.
Alongside the Gittin truck, Ford will also be showcasing another F-150 designed together with freestyle motorcross rider Brian Deegan, packing the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and a long list of enhancements. Between these two trucks, Ford hopes to extend its winning streak for the Hottest Truck award that it's taken four years running now. Feel free to read more in the press release below.

Shelby Cobra, Mercedes 300SL and 1947 Woodie from Petersen Museum headed to auction

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

The changes happening at the Petersen Museum have been making the rounds in major press, but it probably won't be until August 18, during Pebble Beach, when we get the full story on what's happening; that's where and when museum reps plan on announcing the way forward for the SoCal institution. In the meantime, the museum is still reorganizing its collection, and that means auctioning some of its showpieces at this weekend's Auctions America event in Burbank.
Three of the stars are a 1964 Shelby Cobra 289, one of less than 20 produced with a three-speed C-4 automatic transmission, a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL owned by actor Robert Stack and the last 1948 Ford Sportsman 'Woodie' ever produced. The Cobra, now restored to its original white exterior and red leather interior, was a factory demonstrator that first sold for $5,250. Showing just 38,950 miles on the odometer, its pre-sale estimate is $800,000 to $1 million.
The 300SL is actually a 1957 model but wasn't titled until Robert Stack took possession in 1960. The lead actor in the The Untouchables TV series used to drive by the Sunset Boulevard Mercedes dealership to ogle the car, but couldn't justify spending the money to buy it. When he and the producer of The Untouchables won Emmys for the show, the producer, who happened to be Desi Arnaz, bought the car for Stack. He owned it his whole life, it has been left as Stack drove it and still bears the California license plate "UNTCHBL."

Ford C-Max Solar Energi takes a recharging station wherever it goes

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Companies ranging in size from small startups to major automakers have been experimenting with solar-powered charging stations for EVs and plug-in hybrids. And, of course, people have been powering vehicles with onboard solar panels for quite some time, too. Still, Ford's new C-Max Solar Energi Concept shows the promise of a truly practical implementation of solar on a production vehicle, and it may not be as far off in the future as we had thought.
As we reported a few days ago, the Solar concept makes use of a "concentrator lens" that focuses sunlight onto the Ford's roof-mounted solar panels. The special lens follows the rays of the sun to maximize the amount of charge being fed to the batteries of the car, taking about a day to fully charge the 21-mile, all-electric range of the C-Max Energi. Ford data suggests that combination might be enough to power 75 percent of all trips made by a statistically average driver. In turn, using the sun to power a vehicle could reduce yearly C02 emissions by up to four metric tons when compared with the driver of an average gasoline-powered sedan.
We've got live images of the C-Max Solar Energi Concept, jauntily tilted on its display to best present it's signature solar panels, straight from the CES floor.
