Been my daily driver for the last two years, runs great, gets a lot of looks. Moving out of state and don't want to mess with transporting it. We'll start with the bad first, Interior needs some attention, seats are starting to tear, and the weather stripping is starting to dry out and shrink up, one of the rear windows needs fixing to properly roll up and down (stays up no problem though) and it leaks a bit of oil.
Odometer reads 77,xxx miles, previous owner believes it may have rolled over once, engine was rebuilt ( as well as the original 1V Holley carb getting rebuilt, new gas tank, radiator, tranny cooling lines, floor pans, steering wheel, heater core, trans pan, carpet, body bushings, and other misc. parts) about 8,000 miles ago though so it's still got a whole life ahead of it. Starter rebuilt in 2011. New tires last year. Just replaced the battery cables. Body is in great shape, a lot of newer suspension and brakes, paint was redone in '67, there are some small chips here and there it but it still looks great. Aside from daily trips to work and around town, I've done several trips to St. Pete, Plant City, New Port Richey, Alafia River State Park with no issues. I've got fender skirts and maintenance book also that will be included. I really hate to sell it but it'll be to much of a hassle to move it across the country, it's a really great car and it gets a lot of turned heads and thumbs up.
It's gotta go by this weekend, first $4,500 takes it, no trades

1964 Ford GT40 prototype sells for $7M
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Seven-figure Ferraris are not horribly rare. Heck, an eight-figure Ferrari isn't a rare occurrence. Between modern masterpieces like the Enzo and more classic offerings, cracking the million-dollar mark isn't a particularly tall order for the cars from Maranello. For a Ford, though, it's a big deal.
Now, this is not just some rare Mustang. This is a GT40, the car that Henry Ford II commissioned to whip Enzo Ferrari around a track in France. As far as the Le Mans-winning racers go, they don't get much rarer than this one. Sold at the Mecum Auctions in Houston, this is one of the prototypes, meaning it's one of the very first GT40s ever built. That makes its $7 million winning a bid, a record for on-air coverage of the auction, a pretty darn impressive figure.
You can watch the auction below, but first, take a look back at our original story on this rare Blue Oval.
Facelifted Ford Focus caught testing in the cold
Wed, 18 Dec 2013It's that time in the life of the Ford Focus to get a little work done - a nip-tuck here, some Botox there. Yes, Ford is testing a facelifted version of its global C-segment entry, which first hit markets in Europe and North America in May 2011.
Like the touchup on the Fiesta, expect Ford's gaping grille to make its first appearance on the Focus. Our spy photographers point out that this is likely to be a more comprehensive makeover than previous spy shots suggested, based on the additional camouflage seen here on the front and rear ends of this five-door model. New head and taillights are also likely in order, as are changes to the front and rear fascia.
The interior was also snapped and features a cleaner design with a larger central display. Other than that, it looks like some buttons have been changed, making us think most of the Focus' updates are limited to the exterior.
Chip Ganassi Racing switches to the Ford EcoBoost-powered Riley Daytona Prototype
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) announced yesterday at Ford's SEMA press conference that it will field a Ford-Riley Daytona Prototype with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 in the 2014 United SportsCar Championship (USCC). CGRFS is the second team to commit to the new Ford-Riley car, behind Michael Shank Racing (which has already used the racecar to break a 26-year-old top-speed record at Daytona International Speedway).
"Over the last 10 seasons we have been able to experience a great deal of success in Grand-Am," Chip Ganassi says, "and now with the dawn of the new United SportsCar Championship we feel that Ford power will be a key ingredient to writing the next chapter of our sports car program."
In the last Grand-Am season, CGRFS raced a BMW-Riley Daytona Prototype. The team has won seven Daytona Prototype championships, all in the past ten years. Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas return as the team's prototype co-drivers, and will attend their maiden race in the Ford-Riley at the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January.
