This 35,000 mile Ford Fairlane 500 was garaged in Southern California over 30 years. This 390 big block car was purchased new in Bellflower California. It has had only 2 owners. It has original red paint and red interior with a white vinyl top which is in like new condition. Automatic transmission, 390 V8, dual exhaust system and  air conditioning. No power steering or brakes. Paint has that real cool worn patina look you only get from age. This Fairlane 500 has a clear California title and has its black and yellow California license plates. I have the original owners guide and a few extra parts which will go with the car.The car has no rust anywhere and has never been in any accidents. There is one small dent on hood and left rear quarter has a scrape from getting too close to a chain link fence. The motor compartment still has a few factory caulk marks. The air conditioning blows cold and the motor and transmission work great. The chassis has only road grime and is all factory Ford. The motor starts easy and is very quiet with plenty of power. This Ford Fairlane Coupe is a great car to use and enjoy as is and not restore. All it needs is a little TLC. These original unrestored 1967 Ford Fairlane two door hard top cars are becoming very hard to find especially with only 35,000 miles. The tires have age cracks and should be replaced. The factory dog dish or poverty hub caps are also in very nice condition. You may call me with any questions you may have. Thanks for looking. Ed 909 721 0030 The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to close the auction early.

Rolling footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang hits YouTube [w/video]

Thu, 26 Dec 2013

Just in time for the holidays: Ford took the 2015 Mustang to Route 66 to cook up rolling footage, and we've been given some of the leftovers ahead of the meal. There are no burnouts, no donuts, no revving, and thankfully, no music. It's just two minutes and 26 seconds of the new pony car running free in the desert.
So in case you needed more visualizing help, the video below will help you start imagining how you'll look in your 2014 Christmas present to yourself...

Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany

Sat, 29 Jun 2013

Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.
Whatever it is and wherever it's headed, you can check out in the gallery for a closer look before heading into Comments to weigh in with your best guess.

Man turns Ford Fiesta into a one-car band

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The one-man band is a rather ridiculous idea, drawing up images of one person attempting to manipulate several instruments, at once, in a vain attempt at creating music. It's usually represented by silly scenes like this. Interestingly, the concept isn't much more successful when the "man" in "one-man band" is replaced with "car," as we see in this video.
It seems that someone rigged up and edited (699 times, we might add) a Ford Fiesta, a bucket, 12 PVC pipes and the natural sounds that a car makes to come up with a song. Now, we don't recognize the tune, so we've no idea if this is a cover or an original piece. And while it's hardly Beethoven, we have to admire the amount of effort the "conductor" went to in his attempt to turn a subcompact car into a musical instrument(s). Take a look (or listen) below for the entire video.
