THE BODY IS 100% RUST FREE AND GORGEOUS. THE PAINT HAS GARNERED BEST PAINT AWARDS . THE COLOR "DARK IRIS MIST" IS A HIGH METALLIC THAT IS ABSOLUTELY STELLAR. ALL THE BRITEWORK IS ORIGINAL AND IN NEAR FLAWLESS CONDITION. THE TRIPLE CHROM PLATED BUMPERS ARE CONCOURSE.THE PREVIOUS OWNER IN TEXAS SPENT A LOT OF YEARS AND A BAZILLION HOURS GETTING THIS CAR TO THE CONDITION IT IS IN TODAY. WE LOVE THE WAY IT TURNED OUT COSMETICALLY AND MECHANICALLY. WE ARE TOLD BY KIRK MORGAN, THE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT THE HOOD IS AN ACTUAL FOMOCO "R" CODE HOOD. ALL THE PANELS FIT EXCEPTIONALLY WELL . THE ENGINE IS WHERE THIS BAD BOY GETS BAAAAD! IT'S A C6AE-H 427 SIDEOILER THAT HAS BEEN STROKED WITH A U1 428 COBRA JET CRANKSHAFT, BORED .030 OVER, BALANCED, BLUEPRINTED, PORT MATCHED C8-AX TUNNELWEDGE, NEW DUAL 650 CFM HOLLEY RACE QUADS, HOOKER COMPETITION HEADERS, GRIFFIN RADIATOR, 11.5:1 DOMED HYPERTETIC PISTONS, AND FULL RACE 79CC EDELBROCK ALUMINUM HEADS WITH HARDENED SEATS AND MANLEY SS VALVES. THE BENCHFLOWING ALONE WAS EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH EVERY DUCKET. THE FINISHED ATTIRE FOR THE SIDEOILER IS VINTAGE 427 DRESSING. THE CHASSIS IS MINI TUBBED AND FRAME TIED. THE LADDER BARS ARE CHROMED AND THE HOOK-UP FOR THE WHEELIE BARS IS MOUNTED. THE FUEL CELL IS A 20 GALLON CERTIFIED CELL WITH FOAM BAFFLE. THE TRUNK MOUNTED BATTERY IS HOOKED TO 2 GA. CABLES WITH QUICK DISCONNECTS AND THE DUAL HIGH FLOW RUSSEL FUEL LINES ARE HOOKED TO A HOLLEY RACE FUEL PUMPS. THE MUFFLERS KEEP IT JUST ABOUT AS QUIET AS A 747 ON TAKEOFF. IT WON'T RATTLE WINDOWS IF IT'S A COUPLE HUNDRED FEET AWAY. THE WHEELS ARE POLISHED ALUMINUM WELD RACELITES IN A UNILUG PATTERN WITH THE FRONT BEING 6" AND THE REAR BEING 15" WIDE. GIVES IT A VERY PRONOUNCED STANCE TO SAY THE LEAST. THE TIRES ARE 215-75R15 PRO-TRAC COMPETITION IN THE FRONT AND 29-15.50 X15 COMPETITION SPORTSMAN RACE TIRES IN THE REAR. THE ROLL CAGE IS A WORK OF STRUCTURAL ART AND IT BLENDS EFFECTIVELY WITH THE STOCK LOOKING CUSTOM BLACK GT INTERIOR.

THIS BEAUTIFUL FAIRLANE HAS ALL THE ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONING INCLUDING HORN, TURN SIGNALS, GAUGES, TACH, WIPERS, (IT'S A HEATER DELETE CAR NOW) AND LIGHTING. EVEN THE DOME LIGHT FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY. Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values

We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang

Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time.
