Offered for sale is a very hard car to find, a 1964 Ford fairlane 2-door post that was made popular by Ford's first factory experimental drag race car, the Thunderbolt. All of the body and paint is complete, all that is nessesary is to fabricate the roll cage, add the suspension of your choice, finish the assembly, etc. and you will have one of the legends of the 60's. this has the stock steel hood, all of the brightwork is in excellent condition, grille and bumpers are fantastic, comes with the interior trim and currently has a small block ford, (not sure what size) and a toploader 4-speed. The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
