A winner in every way, a real head turner!! This frame off restored car was done with great detail. Larry Webb had this car for about 20 years and worked on it till his death. Then the family put it up on ebay and I purchased it. I purchased only after being assured all the parts and pieces where there, well you know the rest of that story. After finding all the parts for the car we finally took it to it's first show where it won first in the 50's class.At the shows we have done very well 8 first place trophies and a second in limited showing. As a cruiser, it couldn't be better. After a few test miles locally we went on a 4 week 4,000 mile trip with the car and it performed admiralty. Issues yes we over heated once in the parade at Hot August Nights but the next day we won a ribbon and $100.00 as runner up at the show. If you wanted to make it perfect it could use a new top as the one that is on it doesn't fit perfect in the corners. Arrangements could be made for delivery as we love to drive it anywhere on the north American continent, you pay the expenses to deliver it and we'll pay our expenses home. Ford will probably never offer two RS models at the same time
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Autocar has some sour news for fans of go-fast Ford products. According to Roelant de Waard, Ford's president of marketing in Europe, the automaker will probably never offer more than one RS performance model for sale at the same time. That statement runs contrary earlier rumblings that suggested Ford would launch its next-generation Focus RS in 2015 and follow the hatch with a spate of other vehicles with an RS badge. But de Waard has made it clear that Ford of Europe is now focused on squarely on the next Mustang, even though there may be more RS models on the way eventually.
"What is clear is that the RS shouldn't be a series, or a car badge that we have in our portfolio all the time. It is an extreme car - something more than ST," he said.
That philosophy makes plenty of sense. We loved the old Focus RS - shown above in RS500 trim - because it was generally bonkers and plenty exclusive. Diluting either aspect is sure to end in disappointment for everyone involved.

Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road
Sat, 12 Apr 2014If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.
