* Forget those 3/4 tons; forget those 1 tons; this remarkable truck is for you!
* 2013 F450 King Ranch * Private Owner! * Only 1,250 miles (One thousand, two hundred fifty), yes that is correct! This might increase slightly, as I might drive it a little. * I ordered this truck new from factory and took delivery as soon as it arrived at the dealer. * 6.7 Liter PowerStroke diesel * 4x4 with locking rear axle * 14,000 lbs GVWR. Rated to pull 27,000 lb gooseneck/5th wheel or 18,000 lb. conventional trailer * Never been in the rain! * Never parked outside overnight! * Never wrecked, never scratched, never worked hard at all. Not a scratch in the bed. * Towels always on floor mats and on seat. I'm weird. * Nearly all options from Ford * White platinum tri-coat metallic exterior ($495 option) * Fifth wheel prep kit * Tailgate step * Factory moonroof * Beautiful King Ranch leather with heated and air conditioned seats * Block heater * Factory Camper Package * Factory upfitter switches * Factory mudflaps * Factory top-of-the-line Sony stereo with Ford Sync system, Bluetooth, navigation, etc. * No one has ever ridden in the back seat * Original sticker price $70,290 * I have all original paperwork, window sticker, etc. * UWS tool box and factory Ford rubber bed mat not included in sale * Etc., etc. * I am a car freak and take fantastic care of my vehicles. Almost always the first person to look at any vehicle I am selling buys it. They have looked and looked and never found any nicer. * Paperwork will be transferred at my local Ford dealer, for your protection and my protection. This way, we both know the deal is done properly. * The only reason I am selling is my new 2015 F450 King Ranch will arrive in a couple of weeks * No, I don't need any help from dealers * No, I won't finance * No trades, no tire kickers, no test rides. This truck is better than new! |

Jaguar design boss admits X-Type was a mistake
Thu, 19 Sep 2013History has a way of repeating itself, especially in the auto industry. When Jaguar was owned by Ford, the British brand attempted to field a competitor for the BMW 3 Series, called the X-Type. Based on the bones of a Ford Mondeo, it aped the styling of Jaguar's flagship model, the XJ, while borrowing liberally from the Ford parts bin. That was 2001.
Now, in 2013, Jaguar is planning a new 3 Series challenger based on the platform previewed by the C-X17 Concept, while Ford is attempting to take the latest Mondeo upmarket. The moves have both brands recognizing where, why, and how the X-Type failed. "It didn't look mature or powerful or anything. It was just a car," Jaguar's current head of advanced design, Julian Thomson, told PistonHeads. Basing the X-Type on a front-drive car while giving it styling that was meant for a rear-driver lead to proportions that "were plainly wrong," Thomson told PH. Ford's European head of quality, Gunnar Herrmann, added that the X-Type was "a fake Jaguar, because every piece I touch is Ford."
For what it's worth, the X-Type's successor in the segment will sport rear-drive, with plenty of input from Ian Callum. Thomson described the new model, which would challenge the 3 Series as having, "Big wheels right to the ends of the car, low bonnet, short overhangs, very low cabins." Sounds good to us.
Ford evaluating new Fiesta RS?
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Word coming in from across the pond has it that Ford is working on developing the business case to create a new Fiesta RS. The development is encouraged by the extremely positive reception the existing Fiesta ST has garnered to date, and the emergence of the above-pictured Fiesta RS WRC rally car, but it'll take more than goodwill to make a more extreme version a reality.
According to Auto Express, a new roadgoing Fiesta RS would almost certainly be based closely on the ST version, albeit with some vital differences. Its 1.6-liter turbo four would be increased from 180 horsepower to somewhere around 230 hp, and that powertrain would be accompanied by lightweight alloys inside blistered wheel arches, a stripped-out interior and possibly lightweight bodywork.
The vehicle's approval would reportedly require a strong business case in Europe, and not just in the UK where Ford hot hatches traditionally enjoy a strong following. It's unclear whether the Fiesta RS would potentially make the transatlantic voyage to American showrooms, but between it and the larger Focus RS, hopefully the Blue Oval wouldn't leave its home market out of the action altogether.
2015 Ford Mustang revs it up at Cars & Coffee
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Just because the new 2015 Ford Mustang has officially been released, you didn't think that would be the end of the matter - did you? Of course not. There'll still be plenty of rumors, reports and video footage to bring you. Like this, the first non-official footage of the new pony car in the wild.
Shot by YouTube user SotA1080 and dug up by our friends at CarBuzz, this clip shows the new Mustang posing for photos (alongside other Mustangs) and starting up its engine at the most recent gathering of Cars & Coffee in Irvine, CA. And this being the GT model, it's not packing the V6 or the turbo four, but the red-blooded 5.0-liter V8 that tells us and enthusiasts worldwide that the new Mustang has not lost its way. Scroll on down to watch the footage for yourself.
