2004 F350 XLT Ford Super-duty pick up with 126,000 miles. 6.0L diesel with automatic transmission. I had both the EGR system deleted and new oil cooler installed at 60,000 miles. This was done for preventative maintenance because I know the issues the EGR systems can cause on diesels. Truck has never been chipped or worked hard. Never had any issues with this truck. I kept a maintenance record of every oil change, fuel and air filter replacement, and so on since I purchased the truck in 2005 with 20,000 miles. Always used motor-craft oil and filters. Exterior and interior are flawless with the exception of one dent below the rear passengers tail light (see pic). I would rather keep the dent than to have body work done. Never driven in salt. Clean car fax and title in hand.
After-market:
EGR delete kit
Magnaflow muffler and Cat Delete
B&W gooseneck ball (bought to pull a horse trailer one time)
Firestone airbags
2" front leveling kit
warn manual locking hubs (had an issue with the automatic hubs disengaging so I installed manual hubs so I would know for sure if they were disengaging)
Feel free to email me with questions.

J Mays' legacy
Fri, 15 Nov 2013
Mays is by far not the first designer to use heritage design cues in his work.
The announcement that J Mays will be leaving his chief creative officer role at Ford Motor Company on January 1 ends a 13-year run in one of the industry's top design roles. While best known for having a hand in reborn classics like the Volkswagen New Beetle, Ford Mustang and Thunderbird (above), Mays' legacy is more complicated and nuanced than being considered the father of what is known as "retrofuturism".
Volvo to shake off Ford ties with new platforms, engines
Sat, 23 Feb 2013
It would seem Volvo is finally getting around to throwing all of Ford's things out of the apartment. Automotive News reports the Swedish automaker is preparing to unleash a range of new engines as well as a fresh platform designed entirely in house. The powerplants include an all-new four-cylinder engine set to bow before the end of this year before arriving in the US by 2014. Shortly thereafter, the world should get its first glimpse at the next-generation XC60, which will the company's first model to make use of the Volvo scalable platform architecture (SPA). US buyers can expect to see that machine on their roads by early 2015.
The next V70 and S80 will also use the SPA, though those models will carry V90 and S90 designations when they hit dealer floors. But that doesn't mean Volvo has completely weened itself off of Ford technology. The V40 will continue to ride on Ford bones until the model's next chassis can be co-developed between Volvo and Geely.
Ford to build Explorer in Russia to meet demand [w/video]
Fri, 12 Apr 2013The current Ford Explorer is sold in more than 64 countries, and this three-row vehicle continues to grow in popularity worldwide. To keep up with demand, Ford began producing the Explorer at Ford Sollers Elabuga Assembly Plant in Tatarstan, Russia, a joint venture facility. This partnership will build Russian-market Explorers only, and production of export vehicles not destined for Russian buyers will continue to be built at Ford's assembly plant in Chicago.
Before this plant went online, Ford would ship Explorers to Russia (and other regions around the world) as partially assembled knock-down units where final assembly would eventually take place. While there is no indication as to how many Explorers Ford Sollers will build for Russia, Ford did add that exports of the SUV were up 65 percent last year (from 2011) accounting for more than 24,000 units.
Scroll down for a press release about the Russian Explorer as well as a video (bad music and all) showing the SUV being produced in Tatarstan.
