I have a 1999 F-350 for sale. It is an extended cab short bed powerstroke turbo diesel with a manual 6 speed transmission. Hard to find rare setup in a 4wd F350. It has 251,000 miles on it and runs very strong and shifts great as well. It has had wheel bearings and all ball joints and new rotors and pads all put on within the last 3,000 miles. The clutch has also been replaced and the tranny and transfer case rebuilt. The truck does have the typical 99 oil leak but it doesn't leak much at all. The only rust on the truck is the driver cab corner and driver door inside just a little and has scratches in front of bumper on right side(See Picture). Rest of truck is very solid. The toolbox along with gooseneck ball and bed mat come with the truck. The tailgate is bowed on the inside and also showed in my pictures. Overall this truck is in good condition and will pull anything. The starter and alternator are also new and it has a fresh oil change too. I like the truck but I just bought a f150 newer truck and need to sell this one. The truck also has a small rancho lift on it. I believe its a 3 inch. It was on it when I purchased the truck. The tires are the general grabber at 2 and have over half tread still left. They are 285/75/16 on mickey Thompson 10" wide wheels. The truck is for sale locally so the auction may end early. Me reserve is set below blue book value in fair condition and I think truck is good but not excellent. Interior is good shape with very little wear hold in drivers cloth seat that I will sew within the next few days. Has grey cloth with vinyl floor. Also truck has edge evolution programmer with the 3 settings and the screen display. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.

Ford recalling nearly 24,000 Focus EV and C-Max models over door chime
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Ford will be voluntarily recalling 23,830 Focus Electric and C-Max Hybrid and Energi models equipped with push-button ignition, according to The Detroit News. Why? Because the cars don't make a noise when the driver's door is open, and are therefore in violation of federal regulations. It's not as silly as Honda's badging recall that isn't a recall, but it's close.
Actually, that's not exactly fair. The chime is supposed to come on when the driver's door is open, as it reminds drivers not to leave their cars on or leave key fobs in the car, an easy thing to forget when the cars in question make virtually no noise at idle and do not require keys in ignitions.
The recall, which Ford is conducting voluntarily, covers 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric hatchbacks and 2013 C-Max Hybrid and Energi models. The overwhelming majority, around 22,900 units, were sold in the US, while the remaining 900 units are in Canada. How many of each model are covered in the recall is not immediately clear.
Ford family keeps special voting rights
Fri, 10 May 2013Ford Motor Company has a dual-class stock structure of Class A and Class B shares. The roughly three billion Class A shares are for the general public like you and me, while the roughly 71 million Class B shares are all owned by the Ford family. Each Class A share gets the shareholder one vote, each Class B share is worth 16 votes, the result being that Common Stock holders control about 60 percent of the company while the Ford family controls 40 percent even though it holds far fewer shares. The only way that could ever change would be if the Fords sell their Class B shares, but even so, Class B shares revert to Class A when sold outside the family, so they'd have to sell a whole bunch of them.
A contingent of Class A shareholders think the dual-class system is unfair, and for the past few years a vote's been held during the annual shareholders meeting to end it. It has failed every time, as it just did again during the meeting held this week. A smidge over 33 percent voted to end the dual system, outvoted by the 67 percent who are happy with the way Ford is going - unsurprising in view of a corporate turnaround that will be part of business-class curricula for years to come.
On the sidelines, Ford elected Ellen R. Marram to the post of independent director, the first woman to hold the job. The former Tropicana CEO and 20-year Ford board member replaces retiring board member Irvine Hockaday who helped bring Alan Mulally to the CEO position.
Brits recreate iconic Bullitt chase scene
Tue, 13 May 2014Recreating the famous chase scene from Bullitt has become almost an art form in its own right. We've seen it done in a music video, with scale models and even in commercials. There are few films that are as defined by a single scene as the 1968 classic. Even if you don't know a single beat of the plot, the Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through the hilly streets of San Francisco is famous. It's so well known that the Silverstone Classic has created a homage to promote its celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang at this year's event in July.
Filmed around the famous UK circuit, the short film generally gets the key points of the scene right. It even has a green Volkswagen Beetle that keeps reappearing, as in the movie. Unfortunately, its Steve McQueen stand-in looks a little too old for the role. While the video shortens the chase considerably, it's still great to see these '60s behemoths leaning and sliding around the track. Scroll down for a touch of nostalgia thanks to one of the greatest scenes ever in cinema - we've got both the recreation and the original chase seen from the movie waiting for you.
