1994 F-350,
Crew Cab, Long Bed, 4x4, 460 gas, Automatic E40D Trans.
New Motor New Transmission!! Little over 11,000 Miles on them.
Truck was an Arizona/New Mexico truck until September last year when I brought to Michigan And it saw limited driving this winter and regular car washes. The body/frame have no rust and have been spray undercoated..
The 460/7.5l gas motor was a option over the diesel for these years. It had more horsepower and torque. And the current diesel vs gas prices makes this truck a good buy.
Last summer the motor and transmission were replaced and they have remaining warranty. I do not know if it is transferable. For the warranty's to be good additional items were also replaced. (hoses, serpentine belts, exhaust manifolds, distributor, distributor cap, wires, plugs, all gaskets, water pump) All of the parts that went back on were extensively cleaned. The motor is from O'Reilly's and the Transmission was from Autozone. The transmission came with a new torque converter. I have been running royal purple in the motor.
NEW!
Replaced the stereo and speakers in Feb.
It has aftermarket wheels and tires.
Undercoating on the frame. The truck is spotless when it comes to rust.
It has spray on bed liner
It has a fold away goose neck hitch
Flowmaster Exhaust
Water Pump, Hoses, Belts, Manifolds, Plugs, Wires, Distributor, Ignition Module, Vacuum Hoses,
Headlight Switch
Sensors the have been replaced:
Throttle Position, ABS/Speed Sensor, MAP Sensor, EGR Position Sensor, A/C Compresson Sensor, Air Intake Temp Sensor, Vacuum Solenoid, Manual Lever Position Sensor, There are more I just can't remember them all.
Smog Pump is gone along with the extra useless hoses it had with it.
The truck runs and drives great. I planned on keeping this truck indefinitely so I spared no expense. All of the parts that I put on were the best I could get.
The Bad
-The check engine light is on sometimes due to 2 things, the smog/emissions stuff that is missing and the EGR tube is bent so it does not get flow. I have never had problems and it runs fine.
There is about $10,000 just in parts in the truck right now.
The truck has 223k miles. Motor and Trans have 11k on them. I was able to get 13 miles per gallon driving the truck from New Mexico to here with 2000lbs in the bed last summer. I have made 3, 200 plus mile round trips pulling a trailers full of my household goods.

Facelifted Ford Focus caught testing in the cold
Wed, 18 Dec 2013It's that time in the life of the Ford Focus to get a little work done - a nip-tuck here, some Botox there. Yes, Ford is testing a facelifted version of its global C-segment entry, which first hit markets in Europe and North America in May 2011.
Like the touchup on the Fiesta, expect Ford's gaping grille to make its first appearance on the Focus. Our spy photographers point out that this is likely to be a more comprehensive makeover than previous spy shots suggested, based on the additional camouflage seen here on the front and rear ends of this five-door model. New head and taillights are also likely in order, as are changes to the front and rear fascia.
The interior was also snapped and features a cleaner design with a larger central display. Other than that, it looks like some buttons have been changed, making us think most of the Focus' updates are limited to the exterior.
Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.

Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]
Wed, 28 Aug 2013
The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.
