This is a 88 truck that i got in 1990 from a 1 owner and have owned it ever since, and with only 90 K miles on her . i just never used it much as i have 6 other cars to drive , used to pull a trailer with my show car ,but sold the car and now both trailer and truck are not used . truck runs
and drives great . Has red cloth interior, captain type chairs with folding center arm rest . Interior is just super clean . full tint on glass, has front air dam and visior . also has nice BUD wheels , front tires are brand new . has gooseneck ball in the bed witch i used , but only pulled 1 or 2 times a year and now the last 10 years have not pulled anything with the show car gone . trans was rebuilt and has 410 gears . nice 10 inch drop rear bumper . has a pioneer P1R CD player witch was 1000 dollars but the CD player stopped working, all else is working fine , radio . Does have a little rust around the top of the bed , strange place , not sure why . I did have the truck painted years ago at a cost of 3 grand , Base ,Clear and still looks nice when all cleaned up . Does have new brakes in front with new rotors too . new shocks a year or 2 back . does have duel tanks and both work fine . Oil change I did when I couls still get oil free, was once a month for a long time , now its just ,,,,,,if ever i put 3 thousand miles on her . i drive it maybe once a month into town, just to keep her happy . for the money and the way i treated this truck it will make someone a great truck . never ran hard and always kept clean . i was the only driver of this truck . no black smoke and yes i did replace the whole exhaust years ago, just wanted it back to new , from the FORD dealer, so its still all OEM . Any questions , just ask . Ballman32aol.com. Thanks, you will love this truck . .

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax
Thu, 24 Jul 2014
The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
Ford unveils next-gen S-Max in Europe
Tue, 16 Sep 2014Let's get this unfortunate though important tidbit out of the way right off the bat: The Ford S-Max isn't sold in the United States, and it's not coming here, at least not anytime soon. And so it's with our European friends in mind that we share this information about the next-gen S-Max (previewed about a year ago in concept form) that is set to debut all across Europe next year and will be shown off at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Now, moving on...
As with the first-gen S-Max, the new model will boast seating for seven passengers, along with a decent amount of storage space, all packed into a relatively reasonably sized package. Powering the front wheels (or optionally all four) will be the buyer's choice of EcoBoost gasoline-turbocharged or turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines along with automatic and manual transmission options. Included in the mix is a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 160 horsepower, though the 240-horse 2.0 is likely to be seen as the headliner.
There are all kinds of new technologies on offer, ranging from Adaptive Steering to Dynamic LED Headlamps with Glare-Free Highbeams, and it's all housed inside new, more sleekly designed bodywork riding atop a chassis with new suspension architecture designed to make the S-Max a people-hauler that's still fun to drive. For all the details, we suggest you scroll down below to read through Ford's official press release.
Jay Leno drives postcard-perfect '32 Ford Highboy Roadster
Mon, 25 Aug 2014At the turn of the century, it was arguably the Honda Civic that best defined inexpensive performance tuning, and in the '50s it was the Tri-5 Chevys. One of the earliest platforms to gain a huge following among young people looking for a cheap way to go fast was the classic '32 Ford Highboy Roadster. This week, Jay Leno's Garage looks at one of the very first vehicles that defined the look of the hot rod heyday.
This '32 Ford was built in the '40s and graced the cover of the fourth issue of Hot Rod Magazine back in 1948. All of the hot rods that you see shining at car shows today owe a serious debt of gratitude to this roadster. It bears all of the cues that define the look, including a notched frame and hidden door hinges. Under the three-piece hood is a flathead V8 boasting all sorts of period modifications, including copper cylinder heads. It was seriously fast in its era too, and proved it by reaching 112.21 miles per hour on a dry lakebed in 1947.
These days, this hot rod is on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Although, if you can't make it to California to see it, the United States Postal Service is celebrating this Ford with one of its two hot rod Forever stamps. Like Jay says in the video, in terms of hot rodding, "it all comes back to this." Check out the video to learn more about this rolling piece of tuning history.
