2013 FORD F250 Super Duty Platinum Edition 4X4, 12,770 miles, mint condition inside and out. Tuxedo Black Metallic with black leather interior. This truck is absolutely one of the sharpest trucks around, I always keep it shined up and I have got a ton of compliments from others. The metallic paint really stands out and looks awesome. Has 6" Rough Country lift kit, new springs and rear lift, added Fox Shocks. I have the factory suspension and shocks boxed up and will go with the sale. Tires are 295/65/20 Nitto Trail Grappler and rims are Gear Alloy Nitro. I have the original rims and tires with 400 miles on them, they are not part of the auction but can be purchased by buyer if an agreement on price can be reached(unless you use Buy It Now, see below for details) As you can see from the window sticker, this truck was loaded with every option, off the lot it has over $10,000 in options. Additionally, I had the dealership install an engine block heater and also install the headrest DVD players in the back. They ordered the DVD players from the factory with a remote and a set of headphones, these are not the cheap add on players. The upgrades for the block heater and DVD Players were an additional $2600, the suspension and rims/tires were an additional $4600. Includes all factory manuals, window sticker, navigation disk, etc. I am selling because I bought an all wheel drive BMW and another truck from Texas. Ford hiring 2,200 salaried US workers this year
Fri, 11 Jan 2013With its influx of popular new products made in the US, Ford Motor Company has announced that it intends to hire 2,200 new salaried workers domestically this year. This is the biggest increase of salaried workers for Ford in the last 10 years, and it is all a part of Ford's contract commitment to the United Auto Workers union to bring 12,000 new jobs to the US by 2015.
There were no specifics as to where in the US these job openings will be, but Ford did reiterate that it will be spending $773 million on equipment upgrades and capacity expansion at six plants located in southeast Michigan; as a whole, Ford is investing a total of $6.2 billion to its US assembly plants over the next couple years. According to recently appointed president of the Americas Joe Hinrichs, the new jobs will be focused on areas such as engineering, manufacturing and computer software. Ford will post its job openings online at careers.ford.com, and it will also use social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to recruit new workers, including military veterans.

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for Ford Motor Company, as it's announced an onslaught of 23 new global product launches which will help create 5,000 new jobs in the US. As part of the new product push, three more manufacturing plants will be opened.
Hennessey completes first VelociRaptor SUV conversion [w/video]
Mon, 20 May 2013Start with a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor as your base vehicle for modification, and chances are high that you'll end up with something pretty cool. Now, have those modifications done by professional lunatics Hennessey Performance, make the project turning the pickup into an ultra-long SUV, and the result stands a real chance of being a total kick in the ass. Let us present the Hennessey VelociRaptor then, in all of its awesomeness.
Hennessey has taken care in grafting a "Expedition style" rear cabin onto the Raptor, complete with an optional third row. The pictures we have show a cabin that's up to the fit and finish standards of the original Ford truck, too. The cab added over the bed also makes room for a massive load space out back, accessible via split out-folding doors and long enough for a person to lay down in (see video).
Mechanically, the truck-turned-SUV sticks with Ford's stock 6.2-liter V8, rated at 411 horsepower, or can be had with a supercharger and some 600 hp. Hennessey says the stock-motor VelociRaptor will run from 0-60 miles per hour in 7.5 seconds, while the hi-po version takes just 5.9 seconds. The SUV does take some of the off-road ability away from the Raptor, with the company saying it hasn't yet had the opportunity to test its capabilities. On-roading and "moderate off-road duties" are the current prescription.
