This truck has always been dealer serviced and has always used premium Amsoil. The paint is in great condition with minimal scratching. It has a very deep reflection quality and was treated with a sealant when purchased and maintained with wax Twice a year. There is a small thumbnail sized scratch on the passenger door. there is also a small ding the size of a quarter on the driver rear fender ( easily accessable for dentless removal -- paint is not damaged). Average wear on drivers seat and steering wheel. This truck has been babied. There is a big difference in easy miles and hard miles. Most of these work trucks were used to tow. This one has had easy highway miles -- never used to tow a heavy load, never abused, never used offroad. The undercarriage is as clean as the rest of the truck. This truck will not dissapoint. The tires have 95%."

2008 Ford f250

Powerful 6.4 liter diesel engine
automatic transmission with tow mode
6 inch Pro Comp lift
37 inch super swamper m16 tires with 95% tread
116000 very pampered miles
-always used amsoil
-never been smoked in, offroad used, used to tow anything more than a small garden trailer, and never abused -- these were easy miles.  you may find several trucks here with less miles but consider what they have been used for -- this one was bought for the look ( not to tow)

This truck is hard loaded -- every available option when it was made.  The only thing it does not have is navigation and a sunroof.  Not a dealer in the country had those two options when I purchased this truck
I am sure I will forget several options but here are some of the highlights

Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction

Sat, 14 Jun 2014

Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.

Ford cuts 950 Russian jobs on weak demand

Thu, 03 Apr 2014

The Russian auto market, in decline for the past year and further hit by the declining value of the ruble and recent sanctions over its annexation of Crimea, has forced Ford to cut jobs and shifts at two of its joint venture plants there. Around 700 of the 2,700 total workers who build the Russian-market Focus and Mondeo will be cut at the plant in Vsevolozhsk, near St. Petersburg as it drops to a single production shift. A second plant about 700 miles away in Yelabuga, in the Tartarstan region, will lose 250 workers. That plant builds seven vehicles, including the Explorer, Kuga and Edge.
The Moscow Times says Ford has been especially hit by the market decline, the overall market losing 5.5 percent in 2013 compared to the year before, but Ford sales dropping 18 percent in 2013 year-on-year. This year isn't going any better, with The Blue Oval posting a 21-percent decline through the first two months of 2014. That's why, though the Yelabuga plant builds the CUVs that customers are moving into, even it is facing cuts.
The job cuts in Vsevolozhsk come on top four-week plant shutdown planned so that the paint and body shops can go to one shift. In a statement, the company said, "Ford Sollers remains absolutely committed to the Russian market and is confident it has the right product plan, people and assets to deliver long-term profitable growth."

2013 Shelby GT350

Fri, 31 May 2013

Shelby is a name as synonymous with the Ford Mustang as marshmallows are with campfires. But unlike the short-lived sugary confection that is prepared on a stick, the late Carroll Shelby's name on the placard means added performance and exclusivity. Launched in 1965, the automaker's celebrated early cars were in production for a limited run - today, a mint concours-quality 1965 Shelby GT350 can sell for upwards of $350,000.
To coincide with the 45th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350, Shelby American reintroduced the GT350 in 2011. Like the original, it was only offered in white with blue stripes. Customers were offered a choice between naturally aspirated (440 horsepower) and two levels of supercharging (525 horsepower with a warranty or 624 horsepower without). The manufacturer calls the GT350 a "post-title" package, a term that means it starts out life as a stock Mustang and is modified outside Ford's factory (this is in contrast to the Shelby GT500, which is a standard Ford production car).
As the GT350 enters its third year, Shelby has made several changes. Mechanically, Wilwood brakes replace Baer units and Recaro seats and a tinted glass roof are on the options list. Cosmetically, the vehicle is now offered in most of the Blue Oval's factory colors, new multispoke wheels are available in Satin Black or Bright Silver Metallic finish, and customers can choose between Satin Black, Silver or Gloss White stripes (or Azure Blue Metallic on Performance White or Ingot Silver). Aesthetically, the look of the car has also changed somewhat - keen eyes will note that it actually appears more 'stock' than it did last year.
