2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty Xlt Extended Cab Pickup 4-door 5.4l on 2040-cars
Lincoln, Nebraska, United States
2005 Ford F-250 XLT, Extended cab, 4x4, good condition on the interior. Has hail damage on the hood, cab top and one side. Hopefully you can see in the pictures. Has minor scratches, no rust. Has new windshield, new front brake pads, A/C works great. 141,000 miles, runs great. I used this truck to pull my trailer, the transmission went out and I had it rebuilt about 2 weeks ago. So Tranny is good to go now. Truck does not have cam phaser issues, No ticking at all. Does have a small exhaust manifold leak, and it reads an EVAP code. No other codes though. Tires have, I'd say another 10K miles on them, 10ply. All lights and blinkers work. Truck does NOT have a salvage title, and you can get a loan for the purchase. Truck runs and drives good. I'm selling this truck because I bought a new 2015 truck. Thanks for looking

Saleen previews new 302 Mustang
Thu, 03 Jul 2014The introduction of a new generation of a model like the Ford Mustang may be exciting enough in its own right for enthusiasts, but that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, because you know that Ford itself as well as numerous aftermarket tuners will soon follow up with even more desirable versions. And few Mustang tuners carry quite the same clout of Saleen.
Recently reunited after its previous split, Saleen is back on the map and hard at work on new aftermarket modifications for a wide array of muscle cars. We knew it would only be a matter of time before it would release a new 302 Mustang, and now it's sent out the first image to show us what to expect.
Details are scarce, but House that Steve Built says the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang "is perfectly positioned as the next American exotic." And it should know, considering that it's the same outfit that produced the Saleen S7 that really was a true American exotic. From the teaser image above we can see that Saleen has given its Mustang a new front air dam, a very wide air scoop on the hood and of course Saleen's trademark slat grille.
Ford sued over alleged 3.5-liter EcoBoost defects
Thu, 16 May 2013Three Ford owners from Ohio have filed a lawsuit against the automaker over defects that they allege exist within the company's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine. Automotive News reports that the lawsuit claims the engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects." Those defects, the suit claims, cause the vehicle to shake, misfire and lose power quickly.
Two of the plaintiffs, a married couple, own a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, and allege they experienced a loss of power and stalling, while the third, an F-150 owner, claims he lost power while accelerating. In addition to the Taurus SHO and F-150, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine is also available in the Ford Flex, Explorer Sport and Lincoln MKT and MKS. Other three- and four-cylinder EcoBoost engines are not included in the suit. There have been no recalls associated with 3.5-liter V6 engine, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently not investigating the matter.
The plaintiffs, however, claim Ford has known about the problem, citing several technical service bulletins issued to dealers of the F-150 that suggest possible fixes. Ford had no comment for Automotive News, saying that it's yet to review the lawsuit, which was filed last Friday in Columbus, OH.
