Up for sale is my 1997 ford f250 this truck is a great truck im trying to be as honest as possible so there is no confusion with the listing. I've owned this truck for many years and always took good care of it I recently (last feb) bought a new f350 so I no longer need it the truck has been sitting since I feel it's a shame for it to go unused so hopefully it finds a good home
The good :
New exhaust manifolds one yr ago
4x4 works well
Heat works well
Ac works well
Trans shifts smooth
Fires right up
Brake box in cab
tires are in good shape
New water pump
Some new brake lines
New timing chains
New front main seal
New fuel filter
Comes with bed tool box
Plow set up
What it needs:
Front driver side brake caliper
Needs driver side window installed (window comes with sale)
Starter solenoid went bad so I bypassed it with a push button start
Rear fuel pump stopped working (has two tanks) the front fuel pump works
Could use a tune up the engine fires right up and purrrrs like a kitten but when u give it throttle it brakes up and hesitates I assume from sitting
The plow pump needs to be bolted up and wiring must b ran blade has rust spots (comes with e47 Meyers pump and wiring)
I think that's it if I think of anything else ill update and edit the listing as you can see the truck doesn't need that much a couple bucks and a weekend in the garage should do it perfect for someone handy this truck is being sold as is buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery I would recommend trailering it do to the brake caliper
ive included a bunch of pics so u can really see the overall vehicle condition any questions or for other pics please just ask thanks and good luck.. a little later i will be posting a link to a youtube video so u can hear the engine run ect...

Concentrated ST Formula Proves Just As Potent
Fri, 06 Dec 2013 13:30:00 EST
I'm not the jealous type... usually. But I will fully admit to being somewhat of a Pouty Polly when I read executive editor Chris Paukert's report after driving the then-new 2013 Ford Focus ST through the impossibly pretty southern French Alps region last June. I feel like a broken record saying this yet again, but hot hatchbacks hold a special place in my heart. And while I'm always giddy to drive any sort of small, turbocharged three- or five-door at home in Detroit, my jealousy was indeed piqued after hearing Paukert tell about the challenging yet breathtaking roads he encountered while driving the flamin' yellow Focus. You know, the sort of roads that, from above, look like carelessly drizzled lines of icing on the frosted Alpen caps.
Several months later, I found myself piloting a Focus ST just west of metro Detroit, pitting it head-to-head against one of Autoblog's perennial favorite cars, the Volkswagen GTI. It was fantastic - enough so that I fully stand behind my statement that in terms of balls-out performance, the Focus ST cannot be beat as far as today's front-wheel-drive hatches are concerned.
Alan Mulally isn't going anywhere... at least not just yet. The CEO who helped turn around Ford Motor Company has been linked to the top job at tech behemoth Microsoft, leading to a flurry of rumors about potential successors. Those rumors, though, may have just been put to rest - at least for a little while.

Speaking to Edsel Ford II (great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford) at the unveiling of the new Mustang, Automotive News Europe confirmed that Mulally would stick around until the end of next year. "Alan is staying through the end of 2014 and that's all I know," said Ford. "Frankly, he has told us that his plan is to stay with Ford through the end of 2014."
Presuming that Edsel Ford is correct and that Microsoft isn't so hot on Mulally that it saves the position for him, it seems increasingly likely that the 68-year-old exec is more interested in continuing to work in Dearborn rather than in Redmond.
Even as fuel prices creep back up, trucks are still a hot item among new-vehicle shoppers. To see how popular pickup trucks still are, you don't have to look any further than how much effort automakers put into the continual one-upmanship of their trucks. Backing this fact up, USA Today is reporting that the segment could top two million sales this year - a total not matched since 2007, though still far from the pre-recession, three-million-unit levels.
Through August, the Ford F-Series continues to be the segment leader with almost 500,000 units sold, but the Chevy Silverado (328,269), Ram 1500 (234,642), GMC Sierra (122,232) and Toyota Tacoma (110,293) are all seeing at least 20-percent sales increases, helping to account for around 1.44 million truck sales so far this year - not including possible outliers like the Suzuki Equator and Chevy Avalanche.
This year alone, General Motors has completely redesigned its fullsize trucks, Ram and Toyota have significantly updated their offerings, the next-gen Ford F-150 will be out next year and Nissan is promising an all-new Titan around the same time with an eventual Cummins diesel under the hood. It would seem, then, that truck sales are poised to continue their upward trend.
