This is an all-original, unmolested F-250 that is 100% rust free. This would make a great restoration project or a daily driver as it sits now. I bought this clean F-250 a few months ago from the original owner in Queen Creek, Arizona to pull my travel trailer. I sold the trailer and don't need the truck anymore. The truck has a 351M that starts easily and doesn't smoke or leak. I've put around 1,000 miles on the truck since I bought it and haven't had any problems. The tires are in great shape, about 85% or better on the aluminum wheels. The bench seat was just reupholstered to look original (was done by prior owner). The interior is clean. The truck has the upgraded disc brakes on the front axle and drum in the rear. The paint is original, so it is very thin. As you can see in the pictures, the body it straight and the doors close tight. The back window should be replaced, as it works like crap and one of the panels is plexi-glass. The radio (AM) doesn't work, could be a fuse, I never checked because I there ain't any AM stations here. The truck shift smooth and the transmission is tight. The truck has a new radiator, battery, front axle bushings, and a few other new parts (again, installed by the original owner). I haven't done anything to the truck other that put gas in it and drive. I don't think anyone would be disapointed in owning this truck. As you know, it's a 1977 and simple to work on should the need arise. It does idle a little high and I haven't adjusted the carb yet.

Clean Arizona title in hand, signed and ready to transfer.

If you have questions, please ask and I will answer quickly and honestly. I have bought and sold dozens of vehicle on ebay and have a stellar reputation for listing accurately, I have not had to add oil or conduct any other maintenance on this truck. If it doesn't sell, I am going to shorten the frame, bore and stroke the motor, install a roll cage, and convert the truck into a sand drag machine.

Ford bumped by Amazon in best-perceived brand list

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

Back in July, a mid-year study from YouGov found Ford to have higher brand perception than any other company in the US. While Ford failed to top the year-end study, it still has plenty to brag about. The final BrandIndex report shows that online retail giant Amazon edged out Ford for the top ranking, while Subway, the History Channel and Lowe's rounded out the top five spots.
For Ford, it's still an improvement from sixth place in the 2012 study, and, more importantly, it dominated other automakers in terms of brand perception with a clear advantage over Toyota, Honda, Chevy and Volkswagen. To determine how well - or not so well - a brand is perceived, YouGov uses a Buzz score that asks respondents whether they've "heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth" and whether it was positive or negative. While it isn't clear how many respondents were included, YouGov does point out that Ford had a strong presence in social media, advertising and newsworthy toward the end of the year.
For more details about the study and the top companies, check out the press release posted below.

Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
