 Classic 1972 Ford Truck

Owner lives in a senior Mobile home park
He is a friend of mine and I'm helping
him move this awesome truck

The only dent on the whole truck is a small
door dent on the passenger side and a small tweek
on the front bumper and turn signal.
Not from another car.

The dash has a large sun crack in it.

Never been in an accident.

No tailgate / He lost it years ago!

Deluxe trim and dual exhaust

If you like old Ford trucks?
 this is a total score

It has only 141,000 miles and still runs
It has been sitting for 7 years
But the owner has started it every few months

It can be driven anywhere

A tune up and any other carb work
or a good wash will do wonders
a real diamond in the rough.

The tires are new but I would buy new
because of sitting.

Still, no leaks on the tires.

The camper is beaten from the sun but seems
like an easy fix up too.

Restored, this truck will be worth 15 to 25 thousand
It all depends what you do to it.

It is a great investment!

Low starting bid and low reserve.
You will be stoked!

No rust issues like so many trucks do
Never a work truck, Just a clean camper truck.

Extra large radiator!!

Dry, Valley weather all it's life!
Yhis is the truck you've been waiting for.

LONG BED!!
Best features Ford offered in the int and ext
trim. XLT Baby!

I will help in any way I can to arrange shipping USA bidding only.

No bids allowed if your feedback is under 10

Pick up only! Buyer arranges pick up.

Pink in hand.

It's a California truck with no issues.

Long winter means most automakers won't curb summer shutdown

Sun, 18 May 2014

A lot more happened during this latest brutal winter than days of snow and Netflix binges. Automotive sales took a battering. After all, going out car shopping when it's eleventy-billion degrees below zero isn't a good time.
Because of this Old Man Winter-induced sales slump, inventories are abnormally high as we head into the summer car buying season. That's led some analysts to predict that automakers will be more inclined to idle factories this summer, in a bid to trim some of the built-up inventory. Traditionally, American manufacturers offer up a two-week break in the middle of summer, although the burgeoning sales of the past few years have seen this practice become less popular.
"We're likely not going to see an acceleration this year," Jeff Schuster, a senior vice president at LMC Automotive, told The Detroit News. "We'll see production increases in 'pockets' but I don't know if it will be as widespread as in recent years."

Ford adding stop-start to all major model lines

Sun, 24 Nov 2013

Ford has gone all-in on its efforts to offer most of its new vehicles with a fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine, but the automaker is reportedly preparing to take another big step toward improving vehicle efficiency. Automotive News is reporting that Ford will soon expand the availability of start-stop technology, which was first offered - presumably the first non-hybrid vehicle, that is - on the 2013 Fusion (equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine) as a $295 option.
The benefit of start-stop is reduced fuel consumption as it shuts the engine off at long stops, and AN quotes Ford as saying that drivers can save more than $1,000 on fuel costs over five years. Despite this, the option hasn't been popular on the Fusion thus far, but it could be more beneficial on bigger vehicles like the F-150. Ford also said that the next-gen Edge, which was previewed in concept form at the LA Auto Show, will be equipped with auto start-stop to help make the EcoBoost engines even more efficient.

Enterprise working with renter's insurance to cover $47k Mustang stolen from its lot

Sat, 11 Jan 2014

There was more than a bit of public indigence following the recent story of Enterprise Rent-A-Car billing a customer $47,000 to replace a Ford Mustang GT Convertible stolen from a Nova Scotia lot. To recap: Kristen Cockerill rented the Mustang for two days, returned it to the lot on a Sunday and left the keys in a secure dropbox only for Enterprise employees to find the car gone the next day.
Despite Enterprise policies stating that customers are responsible for vehicles dropped on off-days, the company has admitted that the situation could've been handled a bit better.
In a recent statement, Enterprise has backed off the big-bill story, and claims to be working with Cockerill and her insurance company to resolve the issue. Further, the Enterprise general manager overseeing Nova Scotia has spoken with the harried renter, and apologized "for the way this claim was handled during the last few months."
