Up for auction is this clean, nice looking Ford F-150. It is the XLT package, and has a long bed with bed liner. There is a lockable steel tool box in the bed. This truck runs well, starts right up, and has good acceleration. The 4WD works well. AC blows cold, radio works, as well as all other vehicle systems. Interior is clean, and has power lumbar supports in the seats.I bought the truck two years ago and I have only put about 3K miles on it, mostly driving it to the transfer station and lumber yard. I have used it mostly as a hauling vehicle, and to drive my kids to school on snow days. I bought it in Pennsylvania from a guy who used it as a commuter truck. I have replaced the Oxygen sensor, all springs, brakes, front struts, and rear tires.
Bad points: O2 sensor replaced, but the Check Engine light comes on intermittently lately. Possibly the sensor is loose. There is some rust on the passenger door frame, and the rear wells are rusted, which I covered with a set of after market trim covers. The manifold gaskets are worn. I brought the truck to two different shops, and neither one would do the repair. They told me that it was not worth it to try to get the manifolds off, because the bolts would likely break, and the cost to remove the bolts and tap the block would be excessive. Passenger door power lock does not unlock.
This is, overall, a great truck for someone who is going to treat it right and get a lot more good years out of it. And, with the old school body style, you will look country cool driving it. Happy Bidding !!!
Terms are cash or money order, within seven days of auction close. You may inspect before auction close. After close, winning bid is bound to purchase. Shipping may be arranged, depending on distance.

Ford Fusion and Fusion Hybrid nab five-star ratings from NHTSA
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Ford's Fusion and Fusion Hybrid have both received the highest five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The rating is a big upgrade for the Fusion, which was completely redesigned for 2013. The previous model fell one star short of the top rating, after scoring only three stars in the frontal crash test and four stars in the side crash test and rollover evaluations. The 2013 Fusion received four stars in side crash and rollover testing and a full five stars in the front crash test.
Test results for the 2013 Fusion and Fusion Hybrid were greatly improved at least in part due to Ford's Personal Safety System. The system utilizes smarter sensors to gather crash data and tailor the car's restraint systems to the occupants. Seatbelt usage and seat position are taken into account to ensure airbags deploy with less pressure for smaller drivers, more for larger drivers.
The 2013 Fusion twins also received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+ designation. Read the official press release below.
Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
Ford overlooks the Big Apple in the 2015 Mustang Convertible [w/video]
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Ford has done it again. Like in April of 1964, there is once again an all-new Mustang Convertible sitting on the observation deck of New York City's Empire State Building. This has been in the making for a little while, with the first report that Ford would recreate the sky-high publicity stunt coming out a few weeks back.
The process of getting the Mustang up there wasn't exactly easy. A Troy, MI-based company chopped up the new droptop, a necessary evil to get the Mustang on the Empire State Building's only freight elevator that runs to the 86th floor observation deck. But it was slightly more involved than just taking the car apart. The company, DST, built a mockup of the ESB's freight elevators, and then practiced its cuts on a second pre-production Mustang Convertible (measure twice, cut once).
The result of all this work are the images you see above. Yes, sitting in the crisp, morning air of midtown Manhattan, over 1,000 feet up, is this brilliant, Triple Yellow Mustang. Take a look up top for our gallery of images from today's event. You can also scroll down for videos and images of the process leading up to the ESB debut.
