You are bidding on this really clean well kept Texas F-150. This is the crew Cab Lariat addition. very impressive interior. It has minor nicks here and there, but the overall amazing thing about this truck is it is in superb shape. These are high way miles that are in this truck. The engine and transmission is sound and super reliable. Starts right up and drives. I drove this truck from San Antonio to Columbus Ohio. I have kept the maintenance up to date and done on time every time. The exterior is also really impressive. I have taken close up picture of the two areas that are the most significant cosmetically off things. Please understand it is really difficult to describe everything to perfection, however, I have my cell phone on me always and I will gladly answer everything..  If you need a specific pictures taken or a close up , please just ask. EBay has a bizarre new 12 picture maximum..!!!!! Listen, This truck has high miles, but the only affect this has on the vehicle is it get you the luxury F-150 you have been needing for a lot cheaper than what they usually go for. This thing has a lot of life left in it. It functions perfectly. Mechanically this truck is really sound. It  really can drive across the country if you need it to. These vehicles are designed to last and perform. This is a very powerful truck and can hold quite a bit of weight. Let me explain how this truck ended up in my position... My uncle owns a used car lot. I am a member of his dealership and like to sell cars on the side for a little bit of supplemental income. I have access to dealer only auctions and that's where I get these vehicles. I purchased this van from Manheim San Antonio. I flew in to pick it up and drove it back to Columbus Ohio. I had absolutely no trouble with the vehicle driving the distance. This is probably because I only buy cars that are "Auction Guaranteed" This is in reference to the powertrain of the vehicle. (engine and transmission) I can extend that guarantee for 90 days and will have that in writing along side the bill of sale for the winning bidder. Now, I got this for my brother who is trying to start a carpet laying/flooring business. Perfect for him and his start up status. However: We found an E-350 work van. This is way more suitable for him.  I simply just want to sell it. hopefully someone can enjoy it for what it is. a very cheap but reliable Lariat. You can tell it has mechanically been well taken care of. Everything works. The A/C is Ice cold, and first thing I did was have my Mechanic look it over and change the oil check fluids etc etc. The tires look to be practically brand new. No signs of a smoker inside, and actually the interior dash is quite clean and well kept. Really this thing is ready to just be picked up and rolled right in to the job or enjoyed as a smooth drive. There are no real gaps between fender and hood and such things (meaning no real evidence of any body damage in its life). It just simply is a good looking truck. this is the best way to describe it. Please bid confidently. Please call/text/email me for any Questions at all. I have 100% feedback and will deliver the truck to the winning bidder for a fee a lot less than what most shipping companies charge. 614-271-0330

Ford pits The Stig against Gran Turismo 6 in Focus ST Goodwood run

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the world great automotive gatherings. So, it was the perfect event for Ford to give the refreshed 2015 Focus ST its world debut in front of a loving public. It even surprised us with a new diesel-powered version, as well.
The Blue Oval really put its focus on making the ST a better driver for this refresh. It left its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder alone to still pump out a respectable 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The changes like a retuned front suspension, electric power steering and improved interior made the hot hatch an even better place to spend time behind the wheel.
To prove that the Focus ST is still as potent as ever, Ford set up a one-on-one race up the Goodwood Hill. But instead of putting the two cars side-by-side, former Stig from Top Gear UK, Ben Collins, piloted the real model up the course, and his rival drove the virtual version in Gran Turismo 6. The two hot hatches set off at the same time to see whether reality could beat the virtual world, and the finish was actually extremely close. Scroll down to watch the video and find out the winner of this battle at Goodwood.

A tribute to William Clay Ford

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
Take a look below for this touching memorial video on William Clay Ford.

2015 Ford Transit

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

As a segment, fullsize vans are stealth-fighter invisible on most consumers' radar. Visit a dealership for any of the four brands that offer them and you'll be lucky to find even one on display. These are commercial vehicles primarily, even more so than pickup trucks. Vans are the shuttles for plumbers, caterers, carpenters, concrete layers, masons, electricians, florists and flooring, and a huge part of this country's productivity is accomplished using them. At the moment, Ford is the 800-pound gorilla in that room - fully 41 percent of commercial vehicles wear a Blue Oval. So when Ford announced three years ago it would be ditching its commercial bread-and-butter E-Series, it meant the Transit that would be replacing the Econoline had huge, 53-year-old shoes to fill.
We were still a bit nostalgic about Econoline vans going away until going directly from the Transit first drive in Kansas City to an E-350 airport shuttle. Climb up through the Econoline's tiny double doors and bang your head on the opening, crouch all the way to your seat then enjoy a loud, rattle-prone, creaky, harsh ride on beam-hard seats while struggling to see out the low windows. This is an experience nearly every traveler has had. By comparison, the Transits we'd just spent two days with were every bit of the four decades better they needed to be. It cannot be understated just how much better the Transit is in every single way. The load floor is barely more than knee high. There's a huge side door, and hitting your head on a door opening is nearly impossible. Stand up all the way if you're under six-foot, six-inches - no more half-hunching down the aisle. There are windows actually designed to be looked out of. The ride is buttery smooth, no booming vibration from un-restrained metal panels and no squeaks. Conversations can be held at normal levels rather than yelling over the roar of an ancient V8. The seats are comfortable. The AC is cold. There are cupholders.
Enough anecdote-laying, what's in a Transit? We're talking about a very fullsized unibody van that's enjoyed a 49-year history in Ye Olde Europe. This latest iteration is part of the "One Ford" initiative, so it was designed as a global offering from the get-go, eschewing the body-on-frame construction the E-Series has used since 1975. Instead, the Transit integrates a rigid ladder frame into an overall frame construction made of high-strength cold-rolled and boron steel. The suspension is a simple but well-tuned Macpherson strut array up front with a rear solid axle and leaf springs.
