Lifted 2005 Ford F-150 For Sale

Hello all, I'm selling my well taken care of 2005 V6 2WD Automatic Ford F150 STX.  I am the second owner of the truck.  I bought the truck about 5 years ago with

40,000 miles on it.  I live in a small college town so I haven't put too many miles on it since then (now 86,600).  When I do drive the truck, I'll tell you, it's fun to drive! It

still looks new!!  All maintenance work that has been done has just been routine maintenance, with nothing out of the ordinary and I'd be happy to discuss the most recent

work.  All work as fair as engine, brakes, drivetrain, checkpoint maintenance etc. have been done by a ford dealership.  Suspension work, etc. was done by local custom

truck shops. Cosmetically there aren't any major issues.  The truck has never been in an accident.  They are two scratches to note that might not show up in the pictures.

One by the drivers side taillight and one by the drives side door.  The one by the taillight is light enough that it might be able to be buffed out.  If you'd like to see more

pictures, just message me.  Message me any other questions, I encourage you, don't be shy.  If you'd like we can discuss everything over the phone, I will give my phone

number out.  I would like to see this truck go to a good home. It comes with two seats of keys and it's yours.  As you can tell, the tires are practically new, and I think the

next maintenance needed (just got an oil change) will be around the one hundred thousand mark. The truck is located in Auburn, AL. Please feel free to message me about

delivery and payment. Thanks for Looking!!! Have a good rest of your day. :-)

I'm going to try to be as thorough as possible when listing the modifications.  I am including links of the places I purchased in orange or close alternatives, you will have to add the "http://www." to get the link to work. This is to give you an idea of what I've put in the truck for pricing and quality as well.

National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.

Shelby GT500 laps N"urburgring in under 7:40?

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

A couple of weeks ago we brought you footage and official times of the new Chevy Camaro Z/28 lapping the Nürburgring. With a 7:37.47 lap time, the Z/28 emerged as the fastest muscle car ever to lap the circuit. But what was missing from that picture was how fast the king of all Mustangs, the Shelby GT500, could manage to lap the Nordschleife.
Ford never released any information or footage of the GT500 on the Nürburgring that we were aware of - that is, until the guys at SVTPerformance.com put in a request for Mustang videos. Among the clips they received was never-seen, in-car footage of the Shelby GT500 lapping the circuit. And boy did it hustle.
Although not quite official, the video seems to show the GT500 lapped the venerated German track in a touch under 7:40. That would make it a tick or two faster than the Camaro ZL1 - but what of the Z/28? By Chevy's quoted time, the Z/28 is still faster than the GT500, but SVTPerformance suggests GM may have fudged the numbers a bit and scrubbed half a second or so off their lap time.

Ford F-150 SVT Raptor sales jumping to new heights

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Ford can't seem to build F-150 SVT Raptors fast enough. The off-road-ready trucks have been one of the Blue Oval's most reliable sellers, with record sales in eight of the last 10 months and a 14-percent jump in 2013. That's impressive enough, considering that the least expensive Raptor starts at $44,000. Factor in the modded F-150's fuel economy (it's rated at 11 miles per gallon in the city and 16 on the highway) and a national average gas price, as of this writing, of $3.55 per gallon, and its success is as unlikely as Ford's home team, the Detroit Lions, winning the Super Bowl this year (sorry, Lions fans, we're just quoting the experts in Vegas...).
Yet for some reason, Raptors spend an average of just 15 days on dealer lots before being snapped up, which is a quarter of the 60-day industry average. According to Ford's truck group marketing manager, Doug Scott, it's capability that keeps the Raptor selling strong. "What's helping drive Raptor sales is that Raptor delivers unmatched off-road performance to our customers. Raptor is also proof of our commitment to offer a truck for every customer and continuously improving them to meet our customers' evolving needs."
To address the strong demand for Raptors, Ford will bump production from three trucks per hour to five. Not much, we agree. But building an extra 48 trucks per day, at most, seems like a prudent way of addressing demand without oversaturating what is ultimately a niche market. Check out the press release below for more.
