Government owned and maintained 2001 Ford F-150 pickup with factory installed dedicated 3,600 psi CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) fuel system. This pickup runs and drives like you would expect from a vehicle with only 57k miles. Engine and transmission are very strong and there are no fluid leaks. The interior is very clean and still has a new car smell. Tires have greater than 50% tread life remaining and the spare is brand new. California HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) “Carpool” stickers are included. Many F150’s produced in the early 2000’s suffer from a peeling paint syndrome, and this one is no exception. As you will see in the pictures, there are three fairly sizable areas where the paint is missing (on the hood and both sides of the bed). A local paint & body shop quoted me $740 to repaint the entire truck + $80 to repaint the steel wheels (which are also peeling), but I decided to sell the truck as-is in case the new owner wanted to go with a different color scheme. I have described the condition of the pickup to the best of my ability, but it is a used truck and is therefore being sold as-is with no warranty. $500 non-refundable PayPal deposit is due within 24-hours of auction close. The balance can be paid in cash when you take delivery of the truck in Exeter, CA – within 7 days. Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.

Mon, 03 Jun 2013"We certainly have that ability. We're studying it very, very closely." Those are the words of Jim Farley, global head of sales, marketing, service at Ford. The investigation Farley is referring to is the possibility of selling the company's new EcoSport crossover in America.
The diminutive Fiesta-based EcoSport was developed for emerging markets like Brazil and, more recently, China, but it apparently may have a future in the States, where it would form a new entry-level rung below the Escape in Ford's already robust crossover stable. Ford has big plans for its tiny CUV - Farley tells Automotive News that the EcoSport is only available in 10 countries right now, but by 2017, its distribution will have mushroomed to 62 countries. At the time the second-generation model launched at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show as a 2013 model, Ford said the EcoSport would eventually be sold in nearly 100 markets worldwide.
The Brazilian- and Indian-assembled EcoSport is available with a variety of gasoline-powered engines, but the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost giving 118 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque would seem to be the powertrain of choice for America, as it was recently confirmed for the stateside 2014 Fiesta.
