THIS IS A REALLY NICE 1994 F150 XLT SHORT BED 4X2 I RECENTLY PICKED UP AT AUCTION AND IT HAS CLEANED UP BETTER THAN EXPECTED. IT ALSO RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT AND IS A REAL HEAD TURNER. BRILLIANT ORIGINAL PAINT WITH SOME NORMAL SCRATCHES AND SMALL DINGS BUT SHOWS NO RUST OR BONDO ANYWHERE. IT HAS JUST TURNED 100,OOO MILES AND AS I UNDERSTAND IT, WAS DEALER MAINTAINED. I DO NOT HAVE A SERVICE RECORD FOR THE TRUCK. IT STILL HAS WHAT LOOKS TO BE THE ORIGINAL SPARE TIRE. THE RUBBER ON THE GROUND IS A SET OF LIKE NEW MICHELIN LTX M/S 30X9.50R15LT. IT'S ALSO RARE TO SEE A FIVE SPEED IN AN XLT. ENGINE IS A 5.0 (302) AND REAR GEAR IS A 3.55 RATIO. THE TRUCK HAS THE ORIGINAL ALUMINUM WHEELS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. TRUCK RIDES SMOOTH AT 70 MPH. IT HAS ALL THE NORMAL XLT OPTIONS INCLUDING; A/C, P/S, P/B, TILT, CRUISE, LUMBAR, ETC. ETC. THE OLDER AFTERMARKET PIONEER C-D STEREO PLAYS FINE BUT COULD USE A BETTER SET OF SPEAKERS. THE CARPET IS BADLY STAINED AND THE SEAT IS DIRTY AND HAS A FEW CIGARETTE BURNS BUT OVERALL THE SEAT IS BETTER THAN MOST THIS AGE. AFTERMARKET CAT-BACK DUAL EXHAUST IS NICE AND QUIET. BRAND NEW BATTERY AND STATE SAFETY INSPECTION. BUMPERS ARE STRAIGHT AND SHINE BEAUTIFULLY. THE HOOD HAS A SLIGHT BUCKLE AT THE REAR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. LOOKS LIKE THE RESULT OF A STUCK HINGE BUT I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THAT. EXCELLENT TAILGATE AND TRIM PANEL. THE DASH HAS SOME LEFTOVER ADHESIVE RESIDUE AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CLEAN IT SO I'LL LEAVE THAT TO THE NEXT GUY. THE TRUCK HAS JUST GOTTEN A FRESH OIL CHANGE AND CAN BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE WITHOUT WORRY. Ford recalling nearly 700k Escape CUVs, C-Max hybrids over two separate safety issues

Poor Escape. Ever since its launch in 2012, Ford's small CUV has been the subject of many, many, many recalls. And today, The Detroit News is reporting that Ford is adding two more recalls to the 2013-14 model year Escape's permanent record, one of them also involves the C-Max hybrid hatchback.
The first recall, covering 692,500 Escape and C-Max vehicles, is due to a software glitch that could cause the airbags - specifically, the safety canopy - to not deploy in a timely fashion during rollover crashes. According to the News, Ford says no crashes or injuries have been reported in relation to this problem.
The second recall, covering 692,700 Escapes, is related to the door handles. The News reports that the exterior door handles could open while the vehicle is in motion, and could also fail to latch properly. Once again, no crashes or injuries have occurred because of this. The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration has not issued an official notice on either recall as of this writing.

We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.

2014 Ford Transit unveiled in Chassis Cab and Cutaway versions

As a leader in commercial vehicles here in the US, we knew Ford wouldn't take too long to show off the chassis cab and cutaway versions of its 2014 Ford Transit van. Set to go on sale this fall, Ford already revealed the full-body version of the Transit, and now it has pulled the cover off exposed-frame models just in time to to compete against the all-new Ram Promaster.
The term "chassis cab" refers to models with a fully enclosed cabin used for box vans or rental trucks, while cutaway models leave the cabin open behind the B-pillars for a pass-through on vehicles such as Class C motorhomes or ambulances. Both will offer three wheelbase options (138, 156 and 178 inches), the choice of single or dually rear axles, and plenty of upfitter-friendly touches including a pre-wired body harness and multiple body mount locations.
The new design will also help make upfitting a little easier since the fuel filler is now built into the cab (just behind the driver's door). Those integrated fuel filler necks will serve to feed either a 3.7-liter V6, a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, or a 3.2-liter Power Stroke diesel. Transit chassis cab and cutaways will wear varying Gross vehicle weight ratings from 9,000 pounds to 10,360 pounds depending on spec.
