Looks and Runs like a New Truck! ,
NO RUST!
This has only 1 owner since new, It was also built in Georgia.
I just bought the truck in Georgia and I thought
I was going to keep it but
I broke my neck 5 years ago and
I lost feelings and everything in my right arm,
So, I have a hard time driving it.
I don't want to throw an auto. trans in, a car collector wants it
un- molested, and I don't want to mess that up.
Truck is geared for hwy driving, drives great at 65 mph
I let go of the wheel and it stays nice and stright
with no shimmy or shakes.
The truck does NOT wine in 3rd gear.
The Tires, Breaks, Clutch, Glass, Body, Shocks, Motor are all A-1
The motor starts right up, NO smoke, NO leaks
The Motor sounds and Runs wonderful
The only thing I think the truck should have
is a new paint job. Looks ok but I see a few runs in the paint.
"LET's TALK!
"Rat Rod" or Street rod, Hot Rod ect.as trade.
If you just wish to buy just the Truck
I would be asking $12,900 cash ,
NOTE:.
BAD: only (1) bad spot in the front of the bed where the owner hauled
fertilzer and the acid leaked and ate the bed.
Easy fix,
and I was told it just had a tune up,
I just put in a $200. Rubber Bed mat in it.
I may pull the ad if sold local,
$500.00 NON-Refundable payed to PayPal within 24 hrs after you buy.
Bal. in cash or wire transfer to my bank account
before I release the truck to anyone.

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.
Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).
Consumer Reports criticizes small turbo engines for misleading performance, fuel economy claims [w/video]
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Consumer Reports has taken aim at at small-displacement, forced-induction engines, saying the powerplants don't manage to deliver on automaker fuel economy claims. Manufacturers have long held that smaller, turbocharged engines pack all power of their larger displacement cousins with significantly better fuel economy, but the research organization says that despite scoring high EPA economy numbers, the engines are no better than conventional drivetrains in both categories. Jake Fisher, director of automotive testing for Consumer Reports, says the forced induction options "are often slower and less fuel efficient than larger four and six-cylinder engines."
Specifically, CR calls out the new Ford Fusion equipped with the automaker's Ecoboost 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. The institute's researchers found the engine, which is a $795 option over the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder, fails to match competitors in acceleration and served up 25 miles per gallon in testing, putting the sedan dead last among other midsize options.
The Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Sonata Turbo and Ford Escape 2.0T all got dinged for the same troubles, though Consumer Reports has found the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the BMW 328i does deliver on its promises. You can check out the full press release below. You can also read the full study on the Consumer Reports site, or scroll down for a short video recap.
