I bought this truck from a older gentleman who said he put well over 10,000 dollars in the truck since he purchased it in 1997 . It has always been garaged kept since he purchased it and rarely driven.  Truck has a rebuilt big block 360 with a recent rebuilt automatic transmission that both run and shift great. Newer brakes , shocks, hoses etc..  Brand new complete ac system that works great and blows nice and cold . Power steering, automatic transmission , later model wheels, linex bed liner, roll in lock bed cover , am /fm radio and more . The paint on the truck looks great and is very straight. It looks black in the pictures but it is really dark green with metallic type flake . The paint is a few years old now ,so it does show some small  blemishes here and there from age. Great solid body with very little rust.  The only real rust is under the battery tray and underside of hood on driver side (very common for these trucks) .  Perfect glass with rear slider installed !  Newer upholstered seat , good aftermarket carpet with original style floor mat. The dash pad was never reinstalled after painting.  The truck does have a exhaust leak which I think is coming from the manifold on the driver side? All the lights work perfectly including brake lights. The gauges do have a mind of their own, they work most of the time then sometimes they do not ( I think it just a loose ground wire or something going to the gauges) . All the chrome is present except for one small piece which is present in the pictures .  Overall the truck is a great driver and in excellent shape for the age. A perfect driver at what will be sold for a great price!!! Yes it is reliable I just drove it  over a 100 miles.  Low reserve so do not miss out on this awesome looking truck !

Please only bid if you plan to buy and ask all questions first.

Its rare to have a title in Georgia because they only require a bill of sale , But I do HAVE a Georgia title for this truck.  The only small problem is that the previous owner signed the back and never turned the title in he just used the bill of sale.
I think there is another blank line under his signature if need be to sign?  If all else fails you will be receive a good Georgia bill of sale , and with that you should be able to obtain a title if your state requires it.

Ford bumped by Amazon in best-perceived brand list

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

Back in July, a mid-year study from YouGov found Ford to have higher brand perception than any other company in the US. While Ford failed to top the year-end study, it still has plenty to brag about. The final BrandIndex report shows that online retail giant Amazon edged out Ford for the top ranking, while Subway, the History Channel and Lowe's rounded out the top five spots.
For Ford, it's still an improvement from sixth place in the 2012 study, and, more importantly, it dominated other automakers in terms of brand perception with a clear advantage over Toyota, Honda, Chevy and Volkswagen. To determine how well - or not so well - a brand is perceived, YouGov uses a Buzz score that asks respondents whether they've "heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth" and whether it was positive or negative. While it isn't clear how many respondents were included, YouGov does point out that Ford had a strong presence in social media, advertising and newsworthy toward the end of the year.
For more details about the study and the top companies, check out the press release posted below.

Ford recalling 370,000 Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Town Car models

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will recall some 370,000 Crown Victoria (pictured), Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car vehicles from model years 2005 through 2011, for an issue regarding the lower intermediate steering shaft. 355,000 of the vehicles in question were sold in the US, with the other 15,000 sold in Canada.
The report indicates that corrosion of the lower intermediate steering shaft could cause a "loss of steering," presumably because of a partial or complete failure of the part. The report points out the dealers will inspect and replace the offending steering component for recalled cars, and may also secure a lower steering column bearing and replace the upper intermediate steering shaft as needed. The company is unaware of any reports of the faulty part causing any accidents or injuries.
Ford helpfully lists states in which corrosion is more likely to have taken place, mostly in the Snow Belt, as you might guess. Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia are listed.

2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty Power Stroke

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

What weighs 30,000 pounds? Big Ben's Westminster bell. A navy ship anchor. Or as we found out during our first drive program for the 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty, seven pallets of cinder blocks loaded onto a dual-axle gooseneck trailer. The test was part of a raft of towing demonstrations that showcased the new Super Duty's impressive tug capacity, which maxes out at 32,100 pounds. That's 1,200 more than its nearest rival, the Ram 3500, when equipped with its upgraded 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8. Such is the heavy-duty pickup truck business, a diesel-fueled game of one-upmanship with only three players: Ford, Chevrolet/GMC and Ram. And in this game, the one with the most torque wins.
Until 2014, Ford was the one to beat, with its 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel bringing 400 hp and a massive 800 lb-ft of torque to the table. Then last year, Ram did exactly that, serving Ford with a beefed-up Cummins turbodiesel inline-six in its freshened Ram Heavy Duty truck line with 385 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to tow up to 30,000 pounds. But Ford claims it had designed its engine to be relatively easy to upgrade when the time called for it, so for 2015, Ford bolted a larger turbo to the Power Stroke, bringing output to an insane 440 hp and 860 lb-ft of twist, all without reducing fuel efficiency. Maximum tow capacity rises from 24,700 lbs to an incredible 31,200 lbs for the F-450 dually.
As for GM's HDs? They lag behind the lot with their 6.6-liter Duramax V-8, producing 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. Yeah, you know things are serious when the trucks with 765 lb-ft are the knock-kneed wimps of the lot.
