1970 F100 Short Bed with a 429 V8. It is a very good candidate for fixing up, I bought this truck to do the same and had started replacing some interior parts and lowered the rear but I have some unexpected bills and unfortunately I can't put money into the truck. It has a 429 V8 that came out of a 70' T'Bird, mild cam, C6 trans w/shift Kit, Elderbrock Intake, 4BBL, Headman headers, Flowmaster dual exhaust, MSD ignition and wires, New Aluminum Radiator, Chrome Oil Pan, 9" rear, Moon wheels, new taillights, Power steering needs adjusting, Drum brakes (spongy), intellitronix digital dash, Grant Steering Wheel,Kenwood Stereo, custom built console with cup holders, New glove box, new dash bezels. Exterior has few rust spots driver fender (I have patch) , driver door(I have patch) , very tiny holes in bed, under hood has few tiny rust spots, passenger side corner cab has been pushed in (I have patch), few dings thru out truck. Interior: seat needs reupholstered, speed odometer not working needs part (easy fix), does show oil leak when sitting for a while, Also comes with A/C kit for the interior and the clutch. Awesome truck for fixing up. Truck runs really good, and gets lots of thumbs up!

Ford will probably never offer two RS models at the same time
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Autocar has some sour news for fans of go-fast Ford products. According to Roelant de Waard, Ford's president of marketing in Europe, the automaker will probably never offer more than one RS performance model for sale at the same time. That statement runs contrary earlier rumblings that suggested Ford would launch its next-generation Focus RS in 2015 and follow the hatch with a spate of other vehicles with an RS badge. But de Waard has made it clear that Ford of Europe is now focused on squarely on the next Mustang, even though there may be more RS models on the way eventually.
"What is clear is that the RS shouldn't be a series, or a car badge that we have in our portfolio all the time. It is an extreme car - something more than ST," he said.
That philosophy makes plenty of sense. We loved the old Focus RS - shown above in RS500 trim - because it was generally bonkers and plenty exclusive. Diluting either aspect is sure to end in disappointment for everyone involved.
Ford F-35 Lightning II Edition Mustang appears at EAA Oshkosh
Sat, 26 Jul 2014Ford is back at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture air show in Oshkosh, WI, on July 31 auctioning off its seventh Mustang for charity, and this is one seriously mean looking 2015 'Stang. All of the money from the sale goes to give free introductory flights to young people to get them interested in aviation.
We recently saw this latest EAA Mustang as a sketch. However, it looks a whole lot more menacing in person. Dubbed the Ford F-35 Lightning II Edition Mustang, it takes liberal inspiration from Lockheed Martin's latest fighter jet, and the customization makes the pony car look ready for a role in Top Gun.
On the outside, the special Mustang wears titanium-color paint that's offset by a black and yellow stripe running from hood to rear. Out back things get really wild with a mix of bright yellow and black that flows diagonally all the way to the rear spoiler. The design is based on the livery of early production F-35s. If the rousing color scheme isn't enough to get you interested, the car also gets a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, lowered suspension and a set of custom 21-inch wheels with yellow brake calipers.

Thu, 16 Oct 2014With the 2015 Ford Mustang firmly on the scene, the inevitable comparisons with its arch rival, the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro are just starting to trickle out. Over the next several months, you're likely to be inundated by every outlet's muscle car comparison, whether it be the turbocharged Ford against the V6 Chevy, a V8-powered convertible comparo or what we have here, a competition between each vehicle's performance upgrade.
Motor Trend has pitted the Camaro SS 1LE against a Mustang with the GT Performance Pack for a comprehensive series of comparisons on the test stage, street and finally, at Willow Springs with ace Randy Pobst behind the wheel. As per usual, we aren't about to spoil this one for you.
