The exterior showcases beautiful two-tone Caribbean Turquoise & Wimbleton White paint with Custom Cab trim. These are the correct colors for this truck, confirmed by the trim tag. The body itself has always been a dry climate, cared for truck. The paint and body are in excellent condition.
This truck is a pleasure to drive. The interior features restored OEM-style cloth & vinyl silver-thread turquoise upholstery in a beautifully restored cab. The dash was disassembled and the cluster sent off for restoration. The headliner has been replaced. The door panels and rubber seals were also replaced along with the carpeting. The low-profile air conditioning system is by Vintage Air. The windshield wipers have been upgraded. Power Windows has also been installed along with a custom CD Stereo & tasteful speakers. This truck is NICE.
Under the hood is the rebuilt 390 cubic inch V8. This remanufactured engine is by Jasper Performance. Induction is courtesy of an aluminum Edelbrock high-rise intake manifold & Holley 750 dual-line 4bbl. carburetor. This is a strong running engine with adjustable rocker arms & hydraulic lifers. The ignition system has been upgraded with a Petronix unit inside the original distributor & 8mm wires. Exhaust gases are expelled in a hurry through Hedman long-tube headers to a stainless 2.5 inch dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers.

A lot more happened during this latest brutal winter than days of snow and Netflix binges. Automotive sales took a battering. After all, going out car shopping when it's eleventy-billion degrees below zero isn't a good time. Because of this Old Man Winter-induced sales slump, inventories are abnormally high as we head into the summer car buying season. That's led some analysts to predict that automakers will be more inclined to idle factories this summer, in a bid to trim some of the built-up inventory. Traditionally, American manufacturers offer up a two-week break in the middle of summer, although the burgeoning sales of the past few years have seen this practice become less popular. "We're likely not going to see an acceleration this year," Jeff Schuster, a senior vice president at LMC Automotive, told The Detroit News. "We'll see production increases in 'pockets' but I don't know if it will be as widespread as in recent years."
Meet the Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 Concept, a fully functional drift car that, according to our team in Sin City, has been doling out demo drifts in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Destined to be the flagship of RTR's Tactical Performance Line, the Spec 5 Concept is, in addition to its 5.0-liter Aluminator V8 engine, chock full of performance parts that you can buy for your very own 2015 Mustang. In addition to the Ford Racing engine, the OEM parts supplier has lent the Spec 5 an aluminum radiator and a close-ratio six-speed transmission. ASD Motorsports provided the front lower control arms, while the car itself rides on a fully customized coilover suspension. Magnaflow and American Racing have provided the exhaust system and headers, respectively. 20-inch HRE wheels, designed for RTR, are wrapped in sticky Nitto rubber.
As we reported earlier, the Chicago showing of this plucky Ford Fiesta ST GRC racer points to bigger and brighter days for Global RallyCross. For the upcoming season, you can expect to see Ken Block and Tanner Foust both driving the Ford racecar, and if last season's results are any indication, you can anticipate quite a few podium appearances, as well. The Fiesta seen here was built by the Swedes at OlsbergsMSE, and will be driven in anger by Foust in 2013. Modifications are, as you'd expect, extensive, and include an engine, exhaust and braking upgrades, a racing style short-throw shifter and a limited-slip differential. As you can see, the car has been fully stripped out and caged for maximum speed and safety, too. Refresh your memories with the details of the car, in the press releases below. And if you head out to the Chicago Auto Show this year, don't forget to drop by the Ford stand to have a look.
