2001 Ford Excursion 7.3 Diesel “Limited”
This is a Beautiful 2001 FORD EXCURSION LIMITED 2 WHEEL DRIVE !!! IT HAS THE BEST ENGINE, the POWERFUL 7.3L TURBO DIESEL!!!!! You will have to look
long and hard to find one this nice! Its color combo is the best choice. The original Green & Gold 2-tone finish is still shiney & clean. The Tan leather
interior is also very clean & has the optional 3rd seat in back making this a full 8 passenger truck. Loaded with all the “Limited” features, Power Windows,
Power door Locks, AM/FM/CD, etc. It has a few extra options added: a Hypertech Power Programmer giving it the most power & the best mileage, it has the Banks
top of the line full exhaust system & it has a K & N air filter system. It also has a set of gorgeous 22” Weld brand custom forged wheels & Nitto sport tires.
It seems to sit 4” lower than stock & performs like a sports car on the road, especially in the rain. It tows 7000 pounds like it’s nothing. The Automatic
overdrive transmission was just completely rebuilt by the Automatic Transmission Factory in Davie, Florida for $2500. in December & has a 1 year warranty.

When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn't said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.

The current Ford Explorer is sold in more than 64 countries, and this three-row vehicle continues to grow in popularity worldwide. To keep up with demand, Ford began producing the Explorer at Ford Sollers Elabuga Assembly Plant in Tatarstan, Russia, a joint venture facility. This partnership will build Russian-market Explorers only, and production of export vehicles not destined for Russian buyers will continue to be built at Ford's assembly plant in Chicago.
Before this plant went online, Ford would ship Explorers to Russia (and other regions around the world) as partially assembled knock-down units where final assembly would eventually take place. While there is no indication as to how many Explorers Ford Sollers will build for Russia, Ford did add that exports of the SUV were up 65 percent last year (from 2011) accounting for more than 24,000 units.
