We have decided to sell our 2000 Ford Excursion 4X4 with a 7.3 turbo diesel engine, fully loaded, and in Excellent Condition. Holds 8 passengers comfortably, non smoking vehicle, with leather seats that are also in excellent condition. Comes with tinted windows and BOTH A/C, front and rear, blows ice cold. It currently has 158,700 miles on it and is driven daily. This vehicle has a new MBRP exhaust system from the turbo with a new stainless steel tip at the end. Also included is a super chip. It comes with new Weather Tech floor mats, power driver seat, and power exterior mirrors. OEM AM, FM, CD audio system. Power assisted towing brake, cruise control, with after market leather steering wheel cover. Power windows, power locks, grab handles throughout each passenger door. Interior is in great shape. Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught
Fri, 18 Apr 2014In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.
2015 Ford Mustang already under recall, but just 53 units
Sun, 19 Oct 2014Ford has issued a small - but significant - recall for one of its spotlight cars: the 2015 Mustang.
The recall affects just 53 cars, with 50 in the United States and three in Canada. Ford said the passenger side safety belt buckle tension sensor may not have been calibrated properly by the supplier. This could lead to "misclassification" of the passenger seat occupant, and could cause the airbag to deploy improperly.
A Ford spokesperson didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. In a statement, the automaker said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries, and dealers will replace the buckle assembly at no cost to customers. The cars affected were built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan from Aug. 18 to Oct. 2.
