Up for auction is is a 2008 Ford E450 Limobus built by Krystal Koach.  This bus was involved in an accident and we offering it for sale to someone willing to finish repairing it.

This vehicle was recently listed on Ebay, but due to the overwhelming questions about driving the vehicle, we decided to end the auction early, put the front end together and relist the vehicle.  If you look very closely, you will notice that there is a little gap between the grille and hood on the driver's side.   The vehicle should now be able to be driven if the winning bidder chooses to.   The hood, passenger fender, 2 header panels, support brackets, grille and driver's headlight were purchased brand new from Ford.  The bumper was purchased as a take off, so it is also virtually brand new.

We purchased this vehicle from another local limousine service in June of 2012.  In February of 2013 the bus was rearended & pushed into another vehicle. We purchased most of the parts to rebuild the vehicle while we waited for the insurance company to settle the claim.  The insurance company claimed the bus to be a total loss (we have a rebuildable title), so we have decided to sell the bus.  Included in this auction is a freshly painted rear bumper which we purchased from a company in California that had some of Krystal Koaches inventory.

Before the accident the vehicle was in great shape & it still runs perfect, but it may need a few new tires.   The bus has all of the typical amenities that you would expect from a Krystal Koach limobus.  Including, 2 TV's, AM/FM Stereo with CD player and Ipod hookup, DVD player, neon lighting, divider, etc.

We have taken various pictures to try and show as much of the damage as possible.

We don't want surprises, so please email us or call us at 856-461-3300 with any questions.

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION AND WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.   WE WILL NOT END THE AUCTION EARLY.

GOOD LUCK!!!

The history and future of the Ford Bronco

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

Some have suggested that the Bronco's demise was hastened by the fallout from the O.J. trial.
Twenty years ago today, ex-NFL linebacker Al "A.C." Cowlings drove his friend and onetime running back Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson on a parade lap of the Los Angeles highway system and onto an ignoble page of the history books. If you're in your late 20s or older, or a fastidious young student of 1990s American history, you're absolutely aware that Al and O.J.'s steed for the 'chase' was a white Ford Bronco. The white Ford Bronco, even.

This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like

Sat, 12 Oct 2013

Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.

Has the 2015 Ford Mustang gained hundreds of pounds?

Sun, 01 Jun 2014

Automakers face competing interests when it comes to developing a new generation of vehicle. On the one hand, companies want to build their cars to be safer and better handling, with more equipment and maybe even larger dimensions over the model it's replacing. On the other hand, they strive to keep weight down to the benefit of both performance and fuel consumption. Usually something has to give, and in the case of the new 2015 Ford Mustang, those efforts may have resulted in a weight penalty of two or three hundred pounds.
This according to Blue Oval modifier Steeda Autosports, which states that "the 2015 Mustang ended up gaining 200-300 pounds in this remake". Despite the Mustang not being on the market yet, it would appear the leading Ford aftermarketer has been given early access to the 2015 model to help jumpstart its tuning efforts (a rather common development among trusted tuners). If Steeda's assertion is accurate, that would make the challenge of getting the new pony car up to speed for both Ford and aftermarket customizers like Steeda that much greater.
We're waiting for official word from Ford on the veracity of Steeda's claim, but if true, it's bound to be a bit of disappointing news for legions of Blue Oval performance enthusiasts. Watch this space for more.
