1997 Ford E350 Box Truck

1997 Ford e- 350 box truck with a Triton V-8 bought used from the state of Washington around 2002 this truck was set up for a mobile motorcycle repair shop I bought it to turn it into a mobile bicycle repair shop for a while, I found in my area having a brick-and-mortar store worked out better and the truck has been sitting more than I want and maybe only put on 500 to 1000 miles a year. We just recently had breaks done. Wheel alignment was done, and oil change and regular basis. The truck has interior lighting and rear air-conditioning unit along with a power inverter. The rear lift gate is perfect for lifting motorcycles or any other heavy product into the back of the truck. The only reason for selling this vehicle is I'm just not using it enough at this time I find myself in the store 99% of the time.

The lift gate switch went out last summer I have not had a chance to put a new one in, I just tap two wires together and it goes up and taped the other wire and it goes down. the original switch is still in place. The rear tires look good at this time. The front tires have more wear on the outer edges of the tread because of a misalignment in the past.  I have vinyl lettering/picture on either side of the box which was done by DH graphics. At the time both sides and some lettering cost me around $2000 if you would like your logo or some type of picture this can be added. Under my photo is a painted motorcycle repair sign orange and black. I think I have picture somewhere but I would have to look on the old computer. Please see pictures and ask any questions if you're in the area feel free to call and stop by anytime.

2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.

1964 Ford GT40 prototype to be auctioned in April

Wed, 12 Mar 2014

The Ford GT40 owns a firm spot on the list of the greatest American racecars ever made, being the first car from the United States to take an overall win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And now Mecum will auction what it claims is second-oldest GT40 still in existence at its Houston sale on April 12.
The story of the GT40 is fascinating. Henry Ford II attempted to buy Ferrari in the early '60s, but Enzo refused. Ford decided if he couldn't have them, then he would beat the Prancing Horse on the track. Ford went to Carroll Shelby and asked him to spearhead the program. The early cars combined a steel monocoque chassis with Ford's 4.2-liter V8 engine pumping out around 350 horsepower. The first prototype made its public debuted on April 1, 1964, at the New York Auto Show.
Shelby kept building prototypes, including GT/104, which is for sale here. This version featured a lighter steel chassis and was raced at Le Mans in 1964. However, a fire forced it to retire. It was then repainted and had a 4.7-liter (289-cubic-inch) engine fitted. The chassis had its best finish at the 1965 Daytona Continental 2,000 Kilometers where it finished third with Bob Bondurant and Ritchie Ginther behind the wheel. Later that season, it was shipped back to Ford where it was restored and displayed at auto shows until 1971 when the automaker sold it. Since then, it has had many private owners.

Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
