2 OWNER, (police, then me, for 1 yr.) 138000 miles, engine is clean and bears original manuf. marks. Just passed emissions with flying colors. Engine is solid, trans is tight, and shifts firm. Rear axle just had fluid change. Typical nicks for a police vehicle. 2 small flaws on body. 1 crease on lower door, not rusted, another on passenger rear. Both are roughly 1/4 inch by 4 inch. Easy fix if it bothers you. As you can see by pics, car is solid and looks great. Entire front headlight/parklight area has been replaced with 2007 headlights and parklights, due to the pesky "milky" haze that they develop. I would drive this car, coast to coast without ANY worries.
IT EVEN HAS A SPARE TIRE!! most interceptors dont. ...And, I have another, almost new tire, that it comes with also. Tires are about 25% left, I would guess. Fronts are better than rears, thus the newer tire Im including. All center caps are present.
Noteworthy: Vehicles rear passenger windows have been spray tinted. It CAN be razor bladed off, and is isopropanol soluble, should you decide to remove it.
Also, it was keyed, when in service, and they painted around the stripe on the left front fender. It has been wet sanded and buffed to hide this, but is an easy fix by most body guys, for a case of beer.
Also, the spotlight has been removed, but is available for free, should you want it. Its black ABS plastic, with the unity h3 bulb system.(just give me a heads up so I can find everything.)
This vehicle was used in shows as a demonstration vehicle to showcase my police lighting company, and had all the necessary electronics in it. All electronics, have, of course, been removed.

Hennessey Ford GT sets 267.6-MPH record at Texas Mile [w/videos]
Mon, 25 Mar 2013The record-setting Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT we showed you at this time last year headed back to the Texas Mile and managed to bring home yet another record. As you may recollect, last year saw Mark Heidraker's machine sprint to a record 257.7 mph thanks to propulsion from its twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8. The big mill sucks down race gas, and this year the creation pulled off a 267.6-mph run over the weekend. That feat set a new record for the event. Something tells us neither Heidraker nor Hennessey are done squeezing more thrust from this machine.
This particular Ford GT has already gone through a number of permutations. Hennessey started by tweaking the factory supercharger set up before abandoning the blower in favor of two turbos. Since then, the crew has poked and prodded it to coerce as much grunt as possible out of the car. We expect Hennessey will probably come out with a video of the record-setting run shortly, but in the meantime, you can see a couple of videos of the car's runs in Texas below (one of which actually captures the record run). Enjoy.
2015 Ford Mustang leaked in Autoweek
Tue, 03 Dec 2013We would have to imagine that Ford knew it couldn't keep its 2015 Mustang under wraps for too long, and with only days to go before the pony car's official unveiling, the dam seems to be cracking. SVTPerformance.com member Screamin 40th just posted some images taken of the sixth-gen Mustang prominently featured in and on the cover of the December 9 issue of Autoweek magazine.
These images show that recent renderings we saw weren't too far off. The face is just like what we saw in spy shots a few months back, but the rear of the car features some of its more striking cues. Starting with the pronounced haunches and hidden B-pillars, the rear view of the new Mustang might be its best with the ridged, three-bar taillights, a rear diffuser and the lack of a faux gas cap, which allows the galloping pony to be an even more prominent element against the black trim.
The images also reveal a small portion of the updated interior carrying over retro themes like the deep-dish steering wheel and dual-gauge instrument cluster, but it also adds some modern tech with a big infotainment displays and a clean center stack layout. No official word on powertrain or other specs, but while we can't make out most of the magazine's text, our eyes did catch mentions of an independent rear suspension and a 200-pound weight reduction.
Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught
Fri, 18 Apr 2014In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.
