Up for sale is my 2001 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. This car is nice!! It has spent its whole life as a High Point North Carolina School Resource Officer Police Car. The Car-fax on this thing is perfect! Absolutely NO RUST! Don't waste your time buying a Northern car. I have and learned the hard way. From now on its only southern cars like this one for me. They just cant be beat. No rusty frames, body panels, bolts, or any of that garbage you get with a northern car. This car only has 69,708 miles and it runs and drives better and tighter than any car I have ever owned. Really, this car is nice. The Police Department repainted it a nice bright white. Anyone who knows these cars knows that they had a major problem with peeling paint. You don't have to worry about that with this one as it has been repainted. The paint job is very nice! Accident free, no door dings & no dents. The Push Bar on front is literally brand new and perfect! It is an expensive item and looks so cool! The tires are literally BRAND NEW!! They cost me $900 and have less than 100 miles on them. The car comes with a new CB Radio & new Stereo as well. Everything works perfectly except the AC needs to be charged. Don't miss your chance to own a RUST FREE, beautiful P71 with all the cool options. The wheels, push bar , police interceptor badge, the spotlight all make this car look so cool! Nobody passes you on the road because they think you are a cop!

This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars
Tue, 25 Feb 2014The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.
Ford Mustang to get four-cylinder in Europe, but not US
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Fans of the Ford Mustang SVO, which was produced from 1884 through 1986 with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and a manual transmission, may be interested to know that Ford is reportedly going to introduce something similar for 2015. But don't get too excited if you live in the US, as Edmunds reports that the vehicle will be offered in Europe only. Boo!
According to the report, Ford will put a version of its EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder into the engine bay of the Mustang. The engine would be enlarged from its current 2.0 liters to 2.3 liters, taking horsepower from 252 to around 300. The well-known 5.0 V8 engine will also be available in Europe.
"The Mustang is uniquely Ford and has a huge fan base here in Europe. Now those fans have something to look forward to and we look forward to providing more details in the near future," says Ford of Europe CEO Stephen Odell. That's great... but why not offer buyers in the States the (likely) fuel-efficient turbo option, too?
Ford looks to protect logo from Toronto mayor followers
Fri, 15 Nov 2013One is a member of the Detroit Three and the maker of the Mustang, Fusion, Explorer and F-150. The other is an admitted loudmouthed, drunk-driving, crack-smoking mayor in Canada. Unfortunately for one, it shares its name with the other. Yes, Ford Motor Company is going to great lengths to keep its iconic Blue Oval logo from being appropriated by supporters of besieged Toronto mayor Rob Ford.
At a United Way event earlier this week, some of Mayor Ford's fans showed up with shirts that featured the automaker's logo with the words "Ford Nation," on them. Naturally, Mayor Ford signed them. FoMoCo was quick to issue an unhappy statement:
"Ford did not grant permission for use of its logo. We view it as an unauthorized use of our trademark and have asked it to be stopped," spokesperson Jay Cooney said. There was also a statement from Ford of Canada's Twitter account after a user alerted the company:
