I traded my Harley motorcycle for this Bronco. The plan was to rebuild it because I like doing that but my dad gave me his truck (1965 Ford) and I don't have the time. Plus it taking up all the space in my garage.

What you're bidding on is a good looking Ford Bronco. Although it is currently turn key, let me tell you what I would do as a rebuilder- There are about 20 areas that have the paint bubbling up (nothing bad) that I would clean up and repaint. All areas of rust are in the grooved areas problematic for Fords it seems. Radio is new but not working. Probably a fuse but it is a headache to get behind it and I haven't the time. The drive set up is for rock climbing. Meaning, big tires, power steering, tight steering ratio, and geared high. If you like that, cool, if not then to get it perfect for the road, you'll need street tires, and tone down the steering ratio for higher speeds. The guy who had this before me put 11k in upgrades in 07' , (I will send you all the paperwork) but to name a few; rewired, lift kit, tires and rims, suspension, power steering, Ignitor, speakers, brakes, electric radiator fan, headlights, dash kit, tracking bar, pitman arm, and new exhaust. It comes with the hard top although I have some pictures here without it.

If you opt for the buy it now price, I can deliver the vehicle myself for you, otherwise you can email me and we can work something out or if you are crazy far away (>1000mi). Let's assume you live in Cali (since I am in VA) we could meet halfway of you can pay me actual cost (fuel there and back). easy peasy.

This is a great looking Bronco. I am certain you will enjoy it and get it for a really good price as well- Good luck.

Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line

Wed, 05 Jan 2011

The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.

Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.

Ford is building this sweet back-to-basics SUV in Brazil

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

We're use to forbidden fruit teasing us in Europe. Hatchbacks and diesels from Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Skoda, SEAT and Alfa Romeo have been a regular torment that we've grown accustomed to over the years. This vehicle, though, is one piece of forbidden fruit we aren't entirely sure we can get over. We need it.
It's called the Ford Troller T4, and if you accidentally read that as either "reborn Ford Bronco" or "Americanized Land Rover Defender," we wouldn't be rushing to correct you. It's a basic, badass SUV, and is the first new vehicle to come from Troller since Ford gobbled it up in 2007. For those with longer memories, you'll recognize this vehicle from the concept that preceded it, the Ford T-R Concept. The production model remains remarkably true to the T-R, as well as past Trollers, but it's a slightly more modern look overall, with LED taillights, contrasting colors
You'll have to bear with us on the details, as we've been forced to rely on the notoriously literal Google Translate to convert the original Portuguese into English, which means some of the details were lost along the way.
