Ford Bronco - 1969 on 2040-cars

Year:1969 Mileage:99999
Location:

Eden, Utah, United States

Eden, Utah, United States

1969 Ford Bronco.  This is a very original 1969 Bronco.  I have a clear Utah title in my name. It has the original 302 V8 engine and drive train. It also has the original maroon paint. The Bronco was the subject of a restoration project that was not completed.  The Bronco was partially dissembled as part of the restoration, but was left in a dry Utah garage for many years.  The Bronco is almost complete and has very little rust or body damage. Please look closely at all of the photos.  I want the new owner to know exactly what they are getting. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask them. I will respond quickly.
Because the Bronco is not running and is missing a few parts, I will list in detail what is needed to get it back on the road: 1. The front seats are missing.  The rear seat is there, but is tattered. 2. The engine turns, but has not been started. It comes was an extra carburetor and intake manifold as well as several other parts. Please look at the photos of the parts. I have arranged them on my trailer and have taken several photos. The radiator, heater vents, chrome trim, Bronco script, and numerous other parts come with the Bronco. 3. The front windshield was broken and removed. The rest of the glass is in place and useable. 4. The fenders, windshield frame, grille, and top are in place, but not securely bolted down.
If you have less than five (5) positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please email or call me before bidding. A $250.00 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction closing. My home phone, which is still attached to my kitchen wall, is (801) 745-0599.  I want this to be a good, straightforward, auction so don't hesitate to call. I will candidly answer any questions you have about my Bronco. Good luck bidding, and I hope it works out well for both of us.

Watch Piquet and Mansell bend some sheetmetal in Ford Fusion GP

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

As we told you about before, there were four episodes planned for the Ford Fusion GP campaign in Brazil, and the whole series has now run its course. The Ford ads pit Brazilian Formula One driver Nelson Piquet against English F1 pilot Nigel Mansell driving the new Fusion, the two coming together again after their partnership at the Williams F1 team ended in a miserable state more than 20 years ago.
They're lined up for you below, in reverse chronological order. You should watch number three first, though, as it adds a bit more spice to the NASCAR action in the fourth.

Ford turns Navistar from truck business customer to rival

Mon, 19 May 2014

There is a showdown brewing in the medium-duty truck segment next year as Ford prepares to launch its all-new, in-house engineered 2016 F-650 and F-750. It finally marks the end of the Blue Diamond joint venture between Ford and Navistar and, making the two entities direct competitors instead of partners.
Ford announced the end of the joint venture in an investor report in 2011, but it didn't reveal the new F-650 and F-750 until the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN, in March. Unlike the current, Mexican-built models, the new generation will be built in Avon Lake, OH, starting in mid-2015.
The challenge from Ford comes during a rough patch for Navistar. The company had a $248 million loss in the first quarter, according to The Wall Street Journal, and its medium-duty truck market share is currently down to 26 percent, from 36 percent in 2011. Building the previous-generation Fords brought in about $400 million a year to Navistar, according to the WSJ. To take on its former partner, Navistar plans to offer its International brand of medium-duty vehicles with more engine and transmission options to customers. It even struck a deal with Cummins to put its diesels in some of the models.

Hennessey unleashes 2015 HPE700 supercharged Ford Mustang

Sun, 05 Oct 2014

Thanks to the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat there is a new magic number in the muscle car world - 707. To raise eyebrows these days in the power war, a vehicle needs to match or preferably exceed that palindromic figure. The tuners over at Hennessey took a look at it for their 2015 HPE700 Mustang and decided to go one better. Well, ten actually, because they bestowed their latest creation with 717 horsepower and 632 pound-feet of torque.
The HPE 700 Mustang takes the standard Mustang GT with its 5.0-liter V8 and turns up the power a few hundred notches with a Roots-type supercharger running at 7.25 psi. Hennessey claims that this boosted 'Stang can rocket to 60 miles per hour in about 3.6 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at 131 mph. For those keeping score at home, those figures are very similar to Challenger Hellcat.
To cope with all of the added boost, the engine gets a high-flow throttle body, upgraded injectors, new fuel pump, stainless steel exhaust and Hennessey's calibration for the engine management. Pricing for the package is $59,500, including the base 2015 Mustang GT, but the company is limiting production to 500 units for the 2015 model year. Founder John Hennessey told Autoblog that he has already received about a dozen orders for them.
