1979 Ford Bronco Xlt on 2040-cars
Fort Morgan, Colorado, United States
1979 Ford Bronco XLT. Put in a new 351 modified engine in July 2012. Since the engine was put it, this Bronco has only made two trips to the mountains, so it has less than 5,000 miles on the new motor. Odometer reads 61,000 miles but the new engine has less than 5,000 miles on it. Everything under the hood was either fixed or replaced when we bought it. Vehicle runs great! We did all the mechanical work on it before starting any body work. The windshield wipers work intermittently and it needs a new switch for the rear window, but other than that there is nothing wrong with this vehicle. Vehicle comes from a smoke-free home, light bar on the vehicle is not included in the sale. $500 deposit due on vehicle within 24 hours of close of sale. Remaining amount to be paid upon delivery or pickup. Vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of close of sale or sale is considered void and deposit will not be refunded. Will deliver within 100 miles.

2014 Ford Fusion order guide reveals new base Hybrid model, equipment changes
Tue, 23 Apr 2013We've gotten our grubby little digits on the dealer order guide for the as-yet-unreleased 2014 Ford Fusion thanks to an anonymous tipster, and while there isn't much that's unexpected, there are some meaningful equipment changes to report after the rakish sedan's first year on the market.
Mechanically, the big news is, of course, the recently confirmed availability of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic. The powertrain replaces the 1.6-liter automatic setup of 2013, though if you want a manual transmission, you'll still get the extra .1-liter of displacement.
On the equipment front, there are newly available rear inflatable seatbelts - as seen previously on the Explorer - along with a new heated steering wheel and cooled seat option on Titanium and Titanium Hybrid models (the latter two options will be late availability).
Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.
