1985 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet Black with a tan interior. 47,000 miles. Fuel injected V-8 3 liter motor with four valves per cylinder, this is the same engine that is in the very famous and well loved Ferrari 308 series, it is fitted to a 5 speed transmission, the car drives nicely and sounds wonderful. I have owned this car about 7 years,in that time I put a few hundred miles on it, while I did not use it a lot, I made sure to regularly exercise the car so it would not sit around. I had a major service performed when I got the car and then last year I had a friend replace the timing belts since the major was still fresh and the belts were due time wise. The car runs great, the windows all work, it is a wonderful driving example of the Ferrari Mondial Convertible. The paint shows very nicely and looks great. The seat leather is dried and there are some cracks in the seats, I just put seat covers on them and it was fine with me. The mileage on the car fax report shows a discrepancy it didn't bother me because the car ran so well and with the exception of the seat leather it is a nice car. Black is the best color for this model Mondial, the black paint matches the black bumpers so they do not appear to stick out as they do with other colors. Car is located in northwestern Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City. Best speculative Ferrari Enzo successor rendering yet
Sat, 16 Feb 2013While so many supposed Ferrari fanatics are just sitting on their collective hands and waiting for the Italian supercar maker to finally reveal its F150 (or whatever it'll be called) Enzo follow-up, designer Josiah LaColla has gotten busy with his Wacom tablet and set to work. The results, though quite possibly no closer to the actual F150 as any of the other renderings we've seen thus far, are lovely to behold.
Well, actually, "lovely" probably isn't the perfect descriptor - anything less than a little bit brutal wouldn't be a proper successor to the Enzo, nor would it fit the parameters laid out by the test mules we've seen so far. Accurate within the best of LaColla's ability to guess and imagine is probably a better way of looking at these designs, which show a car that has enough venting to keep the bowls of Hell cool (should Hell ever hit the autostrada at 150+ miles per hour).

Corvette gets slidey with Britain's best performance cars
Sat, 18 Oct 2014Autocar wants to find Britain's best driver's car, and it's challenging a murderers' row of some of the world's best performance vehicles to find out, including the latest Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. All of them were therefore assembled at the Castle Combe Circuit to find a winner.
If it wants to take the crown from this pack of mostly European competitors, the 'Vette has to beat some steep competition. Its challengers include monsters like the Ferrari 458 Speciale, Ariel Atom 3.5R and Jaguar F-Type Coupe. As a further hurdle for the winner to clear, Autocar also has last year's champ among the fighters - the Porsche 911 GT3.
Even if you're not at all interested in the C7, there's still something here for practically any fan of fast cars. The competitors include relative oddities among the pack like the Renault Mégane RS Trophy and Alfa Romeo 4C. Plus, Autocar has some well-positioned microphones that let you hear the Atom wailing like a banshee and the roar of the 458 Speciale. Chris Harris wrings out Ferrari F40 and F50 on track
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Chris Harris one of the most beloved of British automotive journalists, and yet Ferrari doesn't seem inclined to take him off its black list. Something about having shined the light on the way Maranello sets up its cars for press evaluations, years ago... So the only time the auto scribe and video host we know as Monkey gets his hands on a Prancing Horse-emblazoned steering wheel is when a private owner offers Harris a drive. Fortunately, that seems to happen all the time, but rarely in such a fashion as it has for this latest video.
Here the owner of not only an F40 but also its successor the F50 has lent Harris both of his anniversary-edition Ferrari supercars and insisted that he drive them aggressively. So off they went to the Anglesey circuit in Wales to see how these precursors to the Enzo and LaFerrari fare alongside one another decades after they first hit the road.
