I have reluctantly decided to list my 2008 Ferrari Scaglietti OTO in a rare, classic and beautiful Avorio / Ivory (ext.) / Cioccolato (int.) color combination.

I have all service records documented and can share upon request. The big major service was performed this year in late March at Penske Wynn Ferrari.

Annual fluid change also was just performed this month and brand new TPMS were sensors installed at the same time (the original TPMS batteries gave out).

4 brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires were installed all around in July of this year.

In excellent condition. Clear bra paint protection film on front of car and mirrors. No dents or dings. No sticky rubber or shrinking leather. Always stored indoors and with sun shield to protect interior.

Only things that I can think to disclose is some minor curb rash on wheels (that I will have addressed for buyer upon request).

The 612 Scaglietti OTO (One To One) has many mechanical and cosmetic improvements / additions from the earlier (2005-2006 and some 2007 models) including:

Manettino and Start Button on steering wheel
Photo-Chromatic glass roof that goes from black to clear with the turn of a dial
Twin plate dual clutch & transaxle case (from 599)
F1 Superfast Gearbox
Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Sports Exhaust
Bose Multimedia Nav System
Challenge OEM wheels
Gorgeous diamond quilt pattern on interior leather.

Hardwired K40 radar detector/laser jammer (front and rear modules) and clear bra installed on front.

I can take more photos upon request. PPI and shipping are welcome at buyers expense.

If interested, a great background article on the 612 including history and model year differences can be read here.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Motor Trend hits Laguna Seca with Ferrari F12, Chevy Corvette, Porsche 911

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

According to the crew at Motor Trend, we should think of the video below "as an addendum to Best Driver's Car," a test the magazine put together that elevated the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S above all others in the category of driving joy. It seems the brand-new 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray wasn't able to take part in the magazine's official test, and neither was the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
And so Motor Trend did the only logical thing: It procured both the 'Vette and Prancing Horse as soon as it could, and put them both on track with the Driver's Car-winning 911. Of course, these cars don't actually compete against each other - the Ferrari offers up 731 horsepower and wears an asking price of $434,144 as tested, which means you could buy four loaded Corvettes for the price of one F12, and still have money left for a garage to store them in - but that's not the point of this particular test.
The point of this test isn't to listen to the beautiful sounds coming from the Porsche's flat-six-cylinder, the Corvette's pushrod V8 or the Ferrari's luscious V12, either, but the video below is worth watching for those three reasons alone. You know what to do.

Ferrari configurator lets you play 458 Speciale customer

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

We all wish we had an extra $300,000 just lying around that we could spend on a supercar. And if we did, we don't doubt that the Ferrari 458 Speciale would be near the top of our list. It's hard, after all, to argue with 600 naturally aspirated horsepower churning away right behind your seat. Unfortunately few of us have that kind of scratch. That's where online configurators come in.
While these web-based customization tools don't exactly let you drive off the lot in a six-figure supercar, they can at least let you pretend that you're the kind of person who would (or more pertinently, could) do just that. And Ferrari's latest is among the cooler ones we've seen.
Like most online configuration tools, Maranello's lets you choose the colors of the bodywork and which wheels you want, but also lets you choose brake calipers, racing stripes and all manner of carbon-fiber aero components. Step inside and the choices are even more extensive, from the size and shape of seats to the color of the tachometer.

Modena opens new Enzo Ferrari museum

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Enzo Ferrari was one of the 20th century's racing icons, and on the 116th birthday of its founder, Ferrari opened a lavish new wing of the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy. The new hall is shaped like the hood of a '50s Ferrari racer on the outside and contains a century's worth of the brand's history inside. Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo and Enzo's son, Piero Ferrari, dedicated the new building on February 18.
The Enzo Ferrari Museum existed previously as two buildings, including Enzo's childhood home and his father's workshop, but the new building was created to display the Prancing Horse's full history. Projectors display images and films of Enzo's like across its walls and floors, and the cars on display represent Ferrari's most important as a driver and constructor over the past century.
The new gallery is meant to compliment the Museo Ferrari in nearby Maranello. Enzo's museum focuses squarely on Ferrari's past, and the other concentrates on brand's present and future, while still displaying some important classic models. Both will be open every day, expect for Christmas and the New Year.
