2007 FERRARI F430 - Black with Black Leather Interior - Inspired by Formula 1 racing, the 2007 F430 is a technology
advanced super-car.
Reviewers praise the F430 for its powerful engine and fast-changing gears. Producing 490-horsepower at 8,500 rpm
and 343 pound-feet of torque at 5,350 rpm, the F430 Spider comes with an FI automatic gearbox -- which allows
drivers to choose between manual and automatic modes.
From 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds, the Pininfarina-styled aluminum bodywork looks stunning from every angle and the
aluminum space-frame chassis forms a rigid base for the suspension to operate with utmost precision. "It's the
totality, the greatness of the entire package that mesmerizes here," writes Road and Track.
With a lavish two-passenger cabin, this F430 Spider features yellow scuderia shields, yellow brake calipers,
factory black ball polished rim option, factory premium Stereo with subwoofer, CD Player, Phone/MP3 jack connected
to stereo, full factory carbon fiber interior package, leather back wall, carbon fiber console, carbon fiber
steering wheel and paddles, carbon fiber door sills, carbon fiber rear levers and carbon fiber air boxes with
performance filters, power Daytona seats with Nero stitching, and embossed horse on head rest, Michelin tires with
85% tread life, 3M clear bra factory books and records.
Motor Trend sums up the F430 best, writing the ''systems have been calibrated by men who aren't just chasing speed
but who truly grasp the sensations that addict us to driving. Downsides to driving an F430? Don't be ridiculous.''

Get a load of these crazy European Nimrods
Wed, 05 Mar 2014I've been attending the Geneva Motor Show for the better part of a decade, and it's become my favorite stop on the entire show circuit, in large part because of all the exotic automakers, coachbuilders and green startups. I also love the Palexpo's consistently mind-bending displays of tuners, who typically work exclusively on six-figure automobiles. Some offer subtle improvements and personalization programs, but most seem hellbent on being more outlandish and bizarre than the next, a room full of millionaire class clowns. More often than not, I spy something and think to myself "What kind of Nimrod would do that to a perfectly good ____ ?" This year, that rhetorical question is in fact a self-answering one.
The jokes, they write themselves.
But seriously, if you're wondering who would take a perfectly lovely Ferrari 458 Italia or a Lamborghini Aventador and affix a wild body kit of dubious aerodynamic and aesthetic merit at great extra cost (both to the car's MSRP and to its assuredly grenaded resale value), the answer could very well be Nimrod Elite Tuning, a newer high-end restyling house out of Slovakia. That last locational tidbit might also explain the company's unusual name, which is likely a nod to a mighty Biblical hunter (descendant of Ham and a king of Shinar, Nimrod is mentioned in Genesis and Chronicles) and not meant to be taken as a synonym for "idiot" or "moron."
Modena opens new Enzo Ferrari museum
Tue, 18 Feb 2014Enzo Ferrari was one of the 20th century's racing icons, and on the 116th birthday of its founder, Ferrari opened a lavish new wing of the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy. The new hall is shaped like the hood of a '50s Ferrari racer on the outside and contains a century's worth of the brand's history inside. Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo and Enzo's son, Piero Ferrari, dedicated the new building on February 18.
The Enzo Ferrari Museum existed previously as two buildings, including Enzo's childhood home and his father's workshop, but the new building was created to display the Prancing Horse's full history. Projectors display images and films of Enzo's like across its walls and floors, and the cars on display represent Ferrari's most important as a driver and constructor over the past century.
The new gallery is meant to compliment the Museo Ferrari in nearby Maranello. Enzo's museum focuses squarely on Ferrari's past, and the other concentrates on brand's present and future, while still displaying some important classic models. Both will be open every day, expect for Christmas and the New Year.
Race Recap: 2014 US Grand Prix goes the English way yet again
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Thankfully, the weekend's Formula One dramas all concerned events that happened off the track, with both Caterham and Marussia going into administration, after which a rumored boycott by the small teams was avoided. That gave the 18 drivers left on the grid freedom to focus on making the most of the Texas sunshine for Sunday's US Grand Prix.
Having finished two Free Practices behind teammate Mercedes AMG Petronas teammate Lewis Hamilton, the second one just .003 behind, Nico Rosberg said he had speed in hand and proved it during qualifying, beating Hamilton to the top spot by four-tenths of a second. Williams drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa came behind, followed by Daniel Ricciardo in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing, Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari, the McLaren duo of Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen, Kimi Räikkönen in the second Ferrari, and little-team Sauber bursting out of the storm clouds into tenth, Adrian Sutil making the team's first-time Q3 appearance all year.
When it came time to race, the carbon-fiber fisticuffs began on the first lap.
