Ferrari 360 Modena coupe year 2000

17500 miles

I’m listing this car for a friend who wants to sell this vehicle, he is the second owner of this car.

I’m very meticulous when selling on Ebay so I will point in detail every defect this car has.

Car was purchased new in San Diego, California.

Car has been serviced regularly but major service is recommended due to TIME, not due to mileage.

My friend is selling all his cars because of he is moving out of the country, so in this case the new owner has to take care of the next major service. It runs from 3,5k to 7,5k depending where is it done.

-Runs beautifully and has no problems.

-it is completely stock with no modifications.

-Has never been abused or in a race track.

-Has never been in any accidents.

Engine:

Starts instantaneously, idles perfectly, no noises, no leaks, fresh oil and air filters. No fault codes.

Oil changed every 2000 miles. Engine Variators has been upgraded as per campaign.

Transmission and clutch:

Six speed transmission shifts excellent, synchros are perfect.

Clutch, trust bearing and fluid have been replaced at aprox. 8,000 miles under warranty because of a manufacturer’s defect that caused slipping. No more clutch issues after that fix.

Body:

No accidents or any repair done. Doors open and close perfectly.

There is one small ding in right rear panel and two small dings in passenger’s door that can be easily removed with paintless dent removal.

All glass in excellent shape.

Paint:

Original black (Nero) paint shines like day one and has never been repainted.

There are a few road paint chips in the front bumper; you can see them in the pictures.

There is a light scratch on the rear bumper’s left side. See pic.

Interior:

Leather seats are in excellent shape with very little signs of wear. Headliner is in perfect shape. Door panels in excellent shape, brushed aluminum trims around the door panels show slight rub marks from getting in and out of the car (could not get them to show in the pics). Absolutely NO sticky parts in this car. Dashboard is in perfect shape except a small wrinkle by the windshield in the passenger’s side, but leather is in pristine condition. Center console is in excellent condition.  Sun visors are in excellent shape. Carpeting is in excellent shape. Mats with the Ferrari logo are included.

Undercarriage:

Very good shape overall, a few scratches in the lower front by the skid pads and for getting in and out of parking garages and in the rear by the lower part of the diffuser for the same reason. These defects are perfectly normal in this cars but nobody state them when selling.

Steering and suspension:

Works perfectly in normal and sport modes. Car handles as it should. Steering is firm and precise.

Tires:

Four tires are almost new with plenty of thread.

Wheels:

Rims are in excellent shape. No curb damage, there are two slight curb marks in the right rear wheel (very superficial)

Registration:

Car is registered in California and has a California clean Title and is ready to transfer to a new owner.

Terms of Sale:

Vehicle is sold as is. No warranty. Balance due within 7 days and payable in cash, cashiers check, or wire transfer. Wire transfer preferred. Note: Cashiers checks usually take longer to clear (California banks place up to 20 days hold on out of state cashiers checks due to fraud protection policies). Car will be released once funds clear in my account

Buyer has to make all arrangements with the carrier. I don't provide shipping estimates but I can email you a list of carriers you can call to get shipping quotes. I can deliver the car at the shipping terminal of your choice (within 50 miles from my zip code at no charge)

Watch this Koenigsegg CCX hit 211 mph on a runway, outpacing McLaren's P1

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Vmax200 in in England organizes events where those who care to show up with a supercar can run them down the two-mile runway at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. Evo attended the latest event, bringing an impressively green Lamborghini Aventador to test its girth and gaping vents against other precious metals like the McLaren P1 and F1, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Enzo, a Porsche Carrera GT and enough 911 Turbos to start a dealership. Speaking of those Porsches, nine of the top ten slots in the top speed competition are claimed by modified 911 Turbos.
A monochrome Swede ruled them all, though, a black-and-white Koenigsegg CCX setting fire to the speed trap run after run, hitting 211 miles per hour at its quickest. It was followed by, surprise, a 911 GT2 modified by 9E that did 210 mph. You can watch the EVO video below, GT Spirit has a bigger breakdown of the day, and we've included another vid showing the tandem launch of the CCX and McLaren F1.

Race Recap: 2013 Korean F1 Grand Prix crazy enough for Psy [spoilers]

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

The end of qualifying for the 2013 Korean Formula One Grand Prix left us with five pairs: two chassis each from Infiniti Red Bull Racing, Mercedes-AMG Petronas, Lotus, Ferrari and Sauber. Yes, Sauber. The last time the Swiss team had two drivers in the top ten was Japan last year, when Kamui Kobayashi converted the grid spot into a podium.
But let's start at the front of the top ten, where Sebastian Vettel put his Red Bull on pole for the 42nd time in his career. He was followed by Lewis Hamilton in second place by two-tenths of a second, Mark Webber in the second Infiniti Red Bull, and Romain Grosjean in the Lotus in fourth. Out-qualifying teammate Kimi Räikkönen again, the Finn would line up in tenth. Nico Rosberg put the second Mercedes in fifth, Fernando Alonso got the first Ferrari into sixth ahead of teammate Felipe Massa, while Nico Hülkenberg led with the first Sauber in eighth, teammate Esteban Gutiérrez showing the promise he was hired for (okay, and his money) in ninth. Except they'd all move up a place because Webber had to serve his ten-place grid penalty after getting his third reprimand of the season in Singapore. That would get Sergio Perez in his McLaren into tenth. Yes, McLaren needed a grid demotion ahead to make it into the top ten.
It was an entertaining top ten that no one would have expected. When the red lights went out, we were treated to one of the most entertaining races of the year - it was Gangnam Style at 300 kilometers per hour.

Motor Trend hits Laguna Seca with Ferrari F12, Chevy Corvette, Porsche 911

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

According to the crew at Motor Trend, we should think of the video below "as an addendum to Best Driver's Car," a test the magazine put together that elevated the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S above all others in the category of driving joy. It seems the brand-new 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray wasn't able to take part in the magazine's official test, and neither was the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
And so Motor Trend did the only logical thing: It procured both the 'Vette and Prancing Horse as soon as it could, and put them both on track with the Driver's Car-winning 911. Of course, these cars don't actually compete against each other - the Ferrari offers up 731 horsepower and wears an asking price of $434,144 as tested, which means you could buy four loaded Corvettes for the price of one F12, and still have money left for a garage to store them in - but that's not the point of this particular test.
The point of this test isn't to listen to the beautiful sounds coming from the Porsche's flat-six-cylinder, the Corvette's pushrod V8 or the Ferrari's luscious V12, either, but the video below is worth watching for those three reasons alone. You know what to do.
